BUG 2024 Bug Survey!!!

Since the latest update, all the temperature settings - seat, wheel, and cabin air - seem to be the same in the morning as when I've exited the car at night.
Which in itself is a great thing potentially and makes sense, though the fact that all heated surfaces are already hot in the morning before I even step in the car seems like a potential issue and battery drain. I frankly have no idea what the secret lives of lucids are at night.

Do you have the auto condition setting enabled?

BUG ?

When using the defroster, by depressing the icon on the left of the front panel, the vents change to aim the air flow at the windshield. Yet, when Defrost mode is disabled, the vents remain aiming the air at the windshield, rather than reverting to their proir setting. This forces a manual adjustment of the vent settings everytime the defroster is used.

I’m confused. Please explain further.

Images show vent/airflow settings before during and after defroster is engaged. When disengaged, the airflow is still directed to the windshield. Those icons remain highlighted , even though the fan speed drops. It should return to the prior settings. Hope that adds to the clarity of the issue.

Huh, I just tested it, and you’re totally right. I’ve never noticed that; living in CA I basically never use the windshield defroster. I’d file that as an odd bug. Make sure to email customer care about it.

Oddly mine doesn't do that. It goes back to the previous settings. Might have something to do with the settings before engaging defrost. Are you using Auto climate before turning on the defrost? If not, try that and see if it goes back into auto when you turn it off.

Just tested it. Yes, using Auto resolves it; I rarely use Auto though.

Does it happen for you without Auto? It’s 100% repeatable in my loaner.

If I take it out of Auto and have only the dash vents blowing when I push defrost, when I turn off defrost the dash vents come back on but the windshield vents stay on. Weird

Yup, that’s the bug we’re talking about. Seems very very specific, haha - just poorly saving/restoring state.

Has anyone sent this to CS yet?

Add in that the nav guidance voice needs to be muted each time the after the infotainment resets (logo or overnight thing)

Funny. I only use AUTO. Summer in GA it's set at 71 AUTO. Nice and cool.
I have yet to experience a GA winter with mine.
