FEATURE 2024 Wishlist Survey

The ability to view the rear camera at any speed would be nice. The view out of the rear windshield is just a bit limited.

Where is that a stated feature?
It has been stated that it is under development for a very long time. Current website: “Our fastest home charging station is capable of charging up to 80 miles of range per hour. . . WiFi-enabled for over-the-air updates and hardware-ready for bi-directional charging (additional equipment needed for bi-directional charging currently under development).” And other promotional materials since 2021 have promised vehicle to home charging. Perhaps it belongs on a wishlist?

Maybe someday.

I spoke just the other day with a key management person who told me it is still in process and is being worked on. Obviously there are lots of competing priorities but I am hopeful it will happen.

Overall, coming from a Tesla, Rivian, then BMW EV, I'm really happy with the Lucid's functionality. My personal requests are small/easy: 1: geo-fenced passive locking, so it won't always lock in my garage. 2: Ability to hide audio sources you don't want or use. 3: Ability to have Atmos through CarPlay. the only other one I have is what's already on the roadmap, with multi-tasking.

1. Ability to adjust how far down the right mirror goes when in reverse. Ability to save to the profile
2. Ability to adjust how far back the seat moves for easy entry. When my wife drives it goes back way too far. Would be nice to have this as a memory saving.
3. Multiple memory seat positions. 3 would be nice but will take 2. Currently you have 1 which is set to the profile.
4. Phone, Nav, Radio buttons added to Pilot Panel.
5. Pilot Panel operate independently from Cockpit Panel if desired.
6. Home Charger app with information like other chargers
7. Replace SIRIUSXM LTE service with Satellite antenna

For me, duration of current drive (and trips) is all that's needed. I can wait forever for any other features. But, not having an idea of how much time I am spending on commute is irritating me a lot.

Please provide Vehicle to Home charging. It was a stated feature of the car—and one of the reasons for our purchase.

I asked this same question at the Tyson's Corner Owner's Club event last Saturday and senior management said end of 2025 for Vehicle to Home.

Really? They were promising something in 2022 that isn't going to be available until the end of 2025? Maybe Lucid is taking a.page from Tesla...😏🙃🤣

Yeah end of 2025 is pretty dismal. Not consistent with what I was told first at the end of 2021, then again in mid 2022, followed by a lot of silence and then a strong indication earlier this year that it is "coming soon" which is pretty much what I was told back at the end of 2021.

Fellow Lucid enthusiast, the 2024 Wishlist Survey has gone live! We will run this one for a few weeks and then report the results to Lucid! Enjoy!

Can you add “Maintenance Manual” for maintenance items that can reasonably accomplished by the owner? Especially relevant for those of us not near a Lucid center. Thanks

I am certain they did not think it would take until 2025, in 2022, and that it wasn’t because they decided it wasn’t important.

My guess is regulatory stuff is taking far longer than they ever anticipated. But just guess.

Regulatory issues around V2G, for sure. But V2L should be straight forward with little regulatory issues. While V2L is not as sexy or as easy for the user as V2G it is useful when the power is down.

No idea. I have no context. I usually try not to make assumptions without it, but it can definitely be fun to speculate. :)

Well GMC/Chevrolet had in their hybrid pickups (several 120VAC outlets rated for 20 amps) back in 2006 so it's not leading edge technology.

The impression I had from the short discussion is they were talking about Vehicle to Grid which included regulatory issues/
