  • Hey hey….i saw your reply. What were you looking to get for your 19in oem wheels?? And are you willing to ship them?? I guess dm me if you are open to selling them.
Hey quick question. I have an electrician currently installing my home charger. I noticed you know a lot about this. We are installing my charger for a 60 amp breaker to charge at 48 amps. He is currently using a 6 gauge wire. We are planning on using a copper barrel mechanical lug that was previously recommended to use on this forum instead of the compression lug. So far just wanted to make sure that seems okay

Use compression lugs. Lucid will not warranty the EVSE if you do not use compression lugs. One of the other forum members learned that the hard way and had to have an electrician come back and swap the lugs before Lucid would warranty it.
You have a wealth of knowledge on this forum. I had a question regarding the 21" aero tires on the grand touring performance. Are they going to be horrible for traction in the winter? Any recommendations on swapping them out for 19" tires if they are virtually new?

Only the sapphire has a heat pump as of right now. I have not missed one.

Hard for me to say, since I live in CA. For me it keeps it plenty warm, but I also run hot in general, so I'm maybe not the best person to ask.

There are a number of threads on it however, and nobody has seemed to complain. The seat heating and steering wheel heating works immensely well (as in, the highest seat heat setting is too hot for me and most), and I haven't seen issues with it not getting hot enough.

If anything, people have complained about the cabin not getting cool enough in the heat, but I haven't seen that issue personally; also, I tinted my windows so that's another reason I may not be the best person to ask on this particular issue.
Just put a deposit down on a touring. Can I still use you as a referral (code) and if so let me know what I need to provide them. Thanks for the heads up.

Absolutely! You can find my referral code in my profile (or anyone that has added theirs), here: https://lucidowners.com/members/borski.2987/#about

You just provide it when you are actually placing the order; not sure what a 'deposit' means in this case, but if it's an order, you can have them add it retroactively before the car is delivered.

I'll DM you my details just in case you need them. Thanks again!

Looks like you have helped many to setup home link. I have a Chamberlin Liftmaster with the yellow learn button. I tried the D-mode and it’s not pairing. Let me know if I can get you any additional information and I can provide.

Sorry, I don’t generally read profile comments. The right people to ask about this is lucid customer support, but on mine with the learn button it worked fine, I just needed my wife to hit learn for me, because the delta between getting off the ladder and into my car and pushing the right buttons was longer than the 30 seconds or whatever that learn mode lasts.
Hi Borski - I'm new to the forum. Sifting through a lot of information. Regarding PPF, who did your instal? If so, can you tell me what PPF you used? Did you have tint applied to the roof for added heat/UV reduction? Any other products applied that you would recommend? Were you happy with the final product? Thanks in advance
