    Gravity Delivery Discussion

    Leasing is so complicated

After over a year of ownership, I still don't understand the entry/approach software of this car

I don’t have problems as I don’t use the fob. When I do use it, it tends to work fine, but I always click the button, rather than risk frustration. With mobile key I just tap my phone screen if needed and it’s fine. I have a theory about profile selection: I suspect, in the presence of both...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Correct. It depends on the state, but I did this with our Hyundai. You need to get the manufacturer to fill out a Statement of Facts (REG 256) form authorizing use of the your license plate on the vehicle. It's annoying, but it's just an extra few pages. Hyundai did this without issue, and sent...

If leasing is not available, would you cancel your Gravity order?

Leasing is relevant, no issues there. What I might suggest is taking everything you’ve learned and helpfully summarizing it in a separate thread to continue that discussion, so others can easier find it!

How is the Press Responding to the opening of Gravity Orders?

There’s been no press release about it, and it’s being slow-rolled to orderholders, and I suspect that’s very intentional. I don’t think it’s that the press has “moved on” but that it hasn’t made a big splash with the DE, on purpose, for the same reasons others stated above.

    Raging BUY at $2.26?

Lol. I’m not suggesting lucid is going to win. I have no idea. I hope they do. But their death is far from set in stone either, and that is my only point.

    Not a winter car?

Yup. My guess is the former, since they did extensive cold testing with the car in general, but anything is possible.

If leasing is not available, would you cancel your Gravity order?

    Gravity 75 mph Range

They were wrong. You cannot remove the third row seats. I promise. The rest is all correct.

    Gravity 75 mph Range

They do mean piece-of-plywood flat. It is a perfectly flat cabin with all the seats down. The gap does exist, hence the future accessory, but from trunk entry all the way through the cabin the level is the same, with only the gap.

    Gravity 75 mph Range

This is an extremely fair point, to both of you. Age makes a difference, and at my spry 37, especially having lost 60 lbs over the last year, I want the smallest and lowest car I can find that goes fast. :) But post hip replacement and with arthritis, my feelings very well may change haha...

Review: The Queen Of EVs Is Still Very Much The Lucid Air

Sure, but there was a hell of a lot more in that review lol. It got a 10/10. That bullet wouldn’t be my takeaway haha

    Consumer Reports Reliabilty Rankings

My car needed a few service visits early on, but I knew what I had signed up for with the DE. It’s the best car I’ve ever driven. I haven’t needed any service visits other than maintenance in a very long time. I need one now because I tore up one of the wheel liners at a parking curb, but...

    WHERE are the GARMENT hooks???

Made by @TWRAPS ! Sounds like your should put these in the Lucid store :)

If leasing is not available, would you cancel your Gravity order?

Of course, but my point is that anything can happen. I've seen it lots of times before. All it takes is a series of poor decisions. I'm long on Lucid and don't think they're going anywhere; I'm a (small) shareholder and soon to be the owner of two DEs, lol, so you don't need to convince me. I...

    Lucid is a Lemon?

    Lucid is a Lemon?

@marsarbu @bikeriderbryan I highly recommend trying to get the attention of some higher-ups before doing anything with legal. As soon as a single lawyer gets involved, there is absolutely nothing Lucid can do to help you since it is then in legal's hands. There are usually many options Lucid...

    Wheel/Tire size options

The Sapphire manual has a bunch of info at the end about drive ratios and things, but I am not the right one to do "wheel math" heh. Figured it had some useful info though: https://lucidmotors.com/media/document/Lucid-Air-Sapphire-Owners-Manual_en-US.pdf

    Wheel/Tire size options

My suspicion is you'd have trouble with traction if you ever push it any significant amount, but that really depends on which tires you use more than which wheels. I just know that Lucid spent a lot of time benchmarking and carefully selecting their tires for the Sapphire, largely due to the...
