FEATURE OTA Update 2.1.52

The navigation voice is more robust. Less of a smoked-cigarettes-all-my-life-and-drank-cheap-whisky vibe. She’s still muted though … I’m not a maniac
Gonna try out the new voice on the way home from work then back to muting. 😂 😂

Even with the birds eye view camera, the wing mirror tilt is most welcome! I wonder why it's only the passenger side mirror?

If that robustness shoutout is real then I'm glad to see that the Lucid software team reads this forum: so thanks to them for all their hard work!

It is indeed real, subtly shady, and absolutely friggin' HILARIOUS!! 😂 😂

They definitely read and/or follow the forum. I've been contacted directly by Lucid several times looking to help regarding posts here in the forum. I've also had other Lucid employees reference the forum when speaking with them.

Do you know if there is a way to make nav remember that you've muted it? Or do you have to mute every time?
Mine just stays muted unless I manually click the speaker button. If that doesn't work, you could try turning the navigation volume all the way down.

After making the change in OTA delivery mechanism, this update is the largest. I'm watching and observing how many of us got the update on same day and without any issues. Speed and coverage of delivery of this update is on my radar. As of now looks good as compared to previously used platform.

I’m sure they are being cautious with this larger rollout. I’d imagine after this stress test they might become more aggressive with the rollout pace in the future.

It stays muted per drive? Or it stays muted permanently even if you park the car and come back the next day? Wonder if my car has some bug...

It stays muted until I click the button which I usually NEVER do. I hate my music being interrupted. I didn't even know they had changed the voice a few updates ago until I read it here on the forum.

It stays muted per drive. It will automatically return to “on” the next time. I agree, it should remember this setting. That said, I always use CarPlay for navigation and it does remember.

It will be a week or two before this update gets to Philly.... so tell me ... what is the joke ?

See the description of "minor updates/improvements" included with the update, listed in the first post of this topic.

Wow. It must just be me keeping the volume manually turned down then.

Clearly they forgot to mention the android auto portion of the update, per my most recent conversation with a source "Yeah, sure, whatever, can you please order already, you're holding up the the drive-thru"

You mean you don’t anymore get the deep, gravelly male voice that intones, “I’ve been a smoker all my life. My name is Helen…”

Wow, Lucid giving me stuff I didn't know I wanted!!! 😁👊 Kudos

Now if we could move on to the forum's top five as based on the survey....🙏
I am surprised that there are some easy ones in the top 10 especially homelink or app updates for seat heating and stuff.

But at least they knocked this one off the wishlist :D
533 - User programming for 19", 20" and 21" wheel swaps (TPMS, range)

It is kind of funny though, I think if you have a car with 19s and just set it to 20" or 21" you might actually get better range accuracy for the display!
