Looks like these guys know and copied that phrase lol

Wow, it’s an imposter Bobby!

It is basically a child lock for the screen in the center console for the back seat occupants.
It locks the A/C control but not the seat heaters. Found that out when the dog kept turning the rear seat heaters on so I locked the rear display but he was able to still turn the seat heaters on. This reminds me I need to report this to CS.

Dog likes a warm seat - what can you say?

Anyone else still at 2.1.10?
If you are on 2.1.10 you should definitely reach out to Customer Care and have them push you the latest. That's way too out of date.

My front camera fails if it has been in direct sunlight on a very hot day and especially when fast charging. IMHO, this is a heat issue. Camera functionality will return after 5-10 min or so after driving.
Had same issue while charging in Marana, AZ this summer. It was 114 degrees at the charging station. Camera corrected itself after charging and driving a few miles. I would assume this will not be an issue while driving otherwise it will be a major issue in AZ or other hot areas.

I've been in touch with them, so far they have been unsuccessful

It may take a few touch points with them as they work with the OTA team.

If the OTA team is unsuccessful, you should then ask for Service to get involved. Service can perform some actions remotely on the vehicle itself, and coordinate directly with the OTA team to resolve.

Sometimes the OTA downloads but the vehicle, for whatever reason, doesn't trigger the notification allowing you to perform the installation of the update. This is where Service can orchestrate on your behalf.

This happened to me just this week. I’ve been monitoring this site and @Bobby's site to know when updates get released. Until today, I was still on 2.0.71. I reached out to CS multiple times over the last 2-3 weeks and they would request the software team to push the latest update to my car, but the update kept failing. On my end, nothing would happen. No notification on the lucid app and no notification on the pilot panel for new software ready to download and install. In fact, my car kept saying "your vehicle is up to date" with the version 2.0.71 software on the about page under settings in the pilot panel. It was only when I spoke to CS that they were able to see that the update failed each time it was pushed out. Luckily, the CS reps are good at their job and escalated it to engineering this morning. Next thing I know, the 2.1.10 update notification showed up on my phone which was quickly followed by 2 other updates in succession. Kudos to the CS team for getting this in the hands of the right people. They did say that worst case scenario would be a mobile tech coming out to the house to connect to my car directly and figure out why the updates were failing, but fortunately we didn't have to go that far.

It’s been several weeks since I’ve gotten any update, and I can’t be arsed to go downstairs to check inside my car to see what version I’m on, not until after my first cup of coffee anyway.

I’ve heard strong murmurings about the car “ping ponging” when in HA, post one of the updates I haven’t received yet. I use HA ever time I drive the 140 miles to work every week. I certainly don’t want any ping ponging.

I’ll wait until I hear reports that the the ping ponging has been ironed away, before requesting any updates be pushed to me.

Curious if anyone else is experiencing this; I don’t plug in every night only when I get to about 20%, but since they .20 update every time I unplug I have to do a logo reset to get the audio in the cabin to work. This is the no blinker sound no stereo etc. anyone else experiencing this?

A couple updates ago, they put the version number in the app. Shield icon shows software version of the car.

I've got this couple times after charging.
Once prior to this update. It's kinda interesting driving in silence but as you pointed out it's corrected by a logo reset. Happening everything would be annoying - have you talked to CS yet?

Hmm…I must be behind on my app updates too. All I’m getting when I press the shield is my odometer reading and my tyre pressure readings.

That’s really smart. In my experience the ping ponging makes it dangerous, especially in turns, so waiting is a great idea. I’m sure we will see the fix soon.

No they are coming up Tuesday so I’ll mention it then. Was just curious to crowdsource here

Search for the Lucid motors app in the App Store and then update. My app is set to auto update so see if you can set yours to do that. My app shows the software version is the latest for the car. I had not gotten 2.1.20 and it had been longer than usual, so I texted CS and they pushed me the OTA 5 minutes later.
