2.6.2 Software Update

I’m still on 2.6. 2022 GT-P.
Same here,

All three Lucid’s are at 2.6.0

Darn…

2024 Pure RWD. Had no problems after 2.6.0. Got 2.6.2 last week. No perceptible changes to me. Having more trouble getting the car to wake from the app while in my garage but quick to awaken if outside - presume it’s weakness in the cellular connection rather than related to 2.6.2.

What is the obsession with OTA's around here? If you car needs it, it will get it, otherwise just carry on with your day. You really have time to burden a CSR to get them to push an update of little consequence?

I had already texted CC last week about not having the 2.6 update before the rollout was paused. I'm assuming it's still paused or rolling out very slowly while they address the bugs. I probably wouldn't bother asking again until the end of the month, at the earliest.

I'm interested in the incremental bug fixes at this point. There are some weird little bugs well documented in this forum that I look forward to seeing go away.

Can anyone comment on the speeds at which each trim is governed?
This is purely anecdotal, but I feel the max speed on my AGT has decreased after 2.6.2.

This needs to be its own thread, cause if that is the case I won’t update. Speed is the reason I have this car haha.

Top speed for a GT is 270 km/h or about 168 mph. Touring is 225 km/h, about 140mph. That's real speed, not speedometer speed. You'll see the speedo hit 170 or 142, since it's reporting 2mph over the real speed. It won't stop you from going faster (with the help of a hill or a tailwind or whatever), it just cuts the accelerator at that point.

Umm ... where did you ... test the max speed? :)
Does it matter? The point I’m making is the gas pedal was to the floor and the vehicle would not accelerate above a certain speed whereas before it did.
It reminded me of the time I tried to pass an X6 in my wife’s Rivian and did so with extreme difficulty. My wife informed me that the R1S is governed at a much lower speed than I thought.

Were you in Sprint mode? I'm not sure if the speed is more limited in other modes, but you'll certainly have a harder time getting there without the full horsepower.

It matters to me, otherwise I wouldn't have asked. I would like to do that as well.

Since 2.6.2 my steering wheel heat isn't automatically on. Adds 3 seconds to my setup.
Ugh, I'm disappointed to hear this... I'm really getting frustrated with these buggy releases... My steering wheel stopped heating with 2.6.0 and it's been 5° here... I was counting on it being fixed with 2.6.2.
