2.6.2 Software Update

I texted Lucid Customer Care and asked where my update to 2.61 or 2.6.3 was…this was my response…
Not every vehicle requires the 2.6.1 or 2.6.2 updates. If you have not been notified for this update to be downloaded on your car then your car is not eligible for this update…

Huh. I was just on 2.5.0 and texted customer care this morning asking if it was expected that I'm still on 2.5.0. They said they'd send my VIN to the internal team to get updated. About 4 hours later, I got the message to update my car to 2.6.0

That's surprising because you'd think the "too many contacts" issue with Lucid Assistant would affect anyone who has too many contacts with 2.6.0.

it makes your heated steering wheel not work
This was my only ‘thing’ from this update (2.6.1)… heated steering would just turn off right after turning it on… the double-tap on/off thing worked for me & now it’s second nature.
Plus it works fine from the app too.

You, new owners are complaining so much. Why do you need heated steering anyway? I could tell you how much this car has improved since I got it but ... oh wait.

Since the car comes with it and you paid for it, it should simply work. No one should have to search online to figure out how to get something so simple to work. It’s clearly a bug, but it shouldn’t take Lucid months to fix minor issues.

I was just being sarcastic, as a blow-off valve. There are so many things wrong with my car, I don't want to start listing them again. I'm already running for the top spot of King Whinner.

Every update I had from Lucid since July 2024 broke more stuff than it fixed. The lack of reliability drives me mad, and the scarry part is that it's only getting worse. My experience with CS is terrible, they don't reply, and when they do they press Play on the "Oh, it's software, we can't help you" pre-recorded message. I have 11 months left on my lease. If the new CEO cannot fix these issues in the meantime, this will be my first and last mistake with Lucid.

See? You got me going again. Your fault :)

Whaaaat we got AA and it never got pushed to my car in last one month? Anyone from LUCID team, can you clarify if one the VIN was missed in this update? Probably that VIN was mine.

where are you seeing that AA was included?

Comments on the first page of the thread gave that impression and later comments are about few got it etc. Not sure what was going on but looks like AA delivered in 2.6.2 to few, not sure may be for selected early adopters for trial purposes.

They need to push these OTA updates out to the Europeans first, and after the bugs are fixed send them to us!

Still no 2.6.2 for me. Still on 2.6.0
And now, my car is very slow to wake again.
Should I turn off WiFi access at home? That seems to make the car wake up faster.
I've also experienced slow waking w/ 2.6.0.

Just updated to 2.6.11. Have not driven the car yet. I wasn't able to update from 2.6.0 to 2.6.11 on my phone. I had to do it front the car, after 3 attempts!
