2.6.11 Update

Anybody having issues with charging since the update? Mine randomly starts and stops. I'm using the Lucid mobile charger at 30amps on a dryer outlet. Nothing has changed but that. Was charging when I went to sleep last night and woke up and it had stopped 5 min later. Vehicle didn't charge overnight but soon as I opened the app it started charging again. I'll do a reset but just curious.
Check your wiring and receptacle.

Try charging again during the daytime. After 30 minutes of charging, or when charging stops early, did the mobile charger flash any lights? Pull the mobile charger's plug out of the dryer outlet and feel the plug's prongs. They should feel warm but not hot. If hot, you should have that receptacle replaced with a commercial grade / EV-rated unit. The part will cost about $50 rather than the $8.39 residential version at Home Depot.

Also make sure the mobile charging adapter's 14-30 plug adapter is fully pressed into the mobile charging adapter.

I got a "Door Failure" fault during my first drive after the update, and the red door icon stayed illuminated during the rest of the drive. It didn't reoccur after I parked the car for a few hours. I've had many transient random errors in the last two years, but it is unusual for the warning light to stay illuminated. A door error seems like too much of a coincidence after a software update intended to fix door issues.

I thought the mobile charger pulled 40amps and wasn't adjustable. Wouldn't this be tripping your breaker?

just got Dose of 2.6.11 robustness and did the update but have not gotten the time to test if there is anything Odd

FYI I have AGT 23

Did anyone go wtf when they read this patch update cmon Lucid we need to get doors opening and closing. Feels like backward progress on software

What makes you think this is a new issue? For all you know, this has been there forever, and they only just discovered the bug.

My ventilated driver seat is fine and I've had the update for some time. Spring in Chicagoland ... you go back and forth between heating and cooling. I like how you can feel the effect of each of the three settings.

So my car went into service yesterday and I let them know about the ventilated seats problem I'm having. The guy confirmed they weren't working on the spot. My loaner, which is a slightly older GT model also has the lack of ventilation. It's also on 2.6.11. Seems to me like they broke something in the update.

Good afternoon,

Not with the 2.6.11 update. However, I am experiencing stopping and starting with the Version 2.6.16 software update (Updates to Drive Assist, DreamDrive Pro, Front Drive improvements and Bluetooth device connectivity). Prior to this update, I did not have any issues with my mobile charger repeatedly stopping and starting. It has stopped and restarted four times today. I'm not sure what's going on.

After the charger stopped for the third time, I watched the app closely and believe the issue had to do with how the charger was plugged into the car. With the fourth stoppage, the app went from: "Charging Stopped" to "Cable Connected" to "Preparing to Charge" to "Charging." Based on this information, I stopped the charger, unplugged the mobile charger and inserted the mobile charger into the Lucid again. It charged for about 40 minutes before repeating the above cycle: "Charging Stopped" to "Cable Connected" to "Preparing to Charge" to “Charging."

I called Customer Care. They recommended that I perform a reset. Held “X,” “microphone” and the brake until all the screens went black. This reset increased the amount of time when the stopping cycle repeated to about an hour between each stopping cycle. Normally, the stoppage lasts less than 2 minutes - basically, charging restarts before I can run to the garage, unplug the charging cable, plug in the charging cable and restart charging.

Since calling Customer Care, the stopping cycle has happened about four times. I need to call Customer Care and report the reset didn’t stop the problem. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, were you able to find a solution to stop this cycle?

It actually sounds like it may be an issue with your charger. What type of charger do you have? How is it wired (plug or hardwired)? Have you felt any of the connections to the charger to see how hot they are?

Good afternoon,

I use the Lucid Mobile Charging Cable. I had an electrician install a NEMA 14-50 plug and I believe a 50 amp breaker. The mobile charging cable feels warm, but since I never touched it while charging before, I'm not sure if warm is really hot or just warm. I don't really have anything to compare it to.

It just seems strange that everything was fine when I started using it on March 30th, but the first charge after I accepted the latest update, this problem started.

Let the car charge for about 30 minutes and then stop charging. Remove the mobile cable plug from the 14-50 outlet and feel it. If you can, please post a picture of the 14-50 outlet. Some outlets really should not be used for EV charging.

Good evening,

Here's a picture of my outlet. I completed the charging earlier today, so I'll have to charge my car again in a couple of days.

Thank you for your help.

I think something is overheating. Your outlet does not appear to be the heavy duty type suggested for EV charging. If you have a family member or neighbor with either a 15-50 outlet or EV charger, you could rule out a car issue if it successfully charges with another EV charger or your mobile charger works in the 15-50 outlet. If not, then you should keep an eye out for when your charger stops and check the cords (both ends) and your outlet for excessive temperature.
