On a worldwide basis we cannot be sure, but in the US iPhones are more common with Lucids as evidenced by the numerous polls!

I mean, we have a data set here in the US. It skews heavily towards Apple users. Can we extrapolate that out worldwide? Somewhat, but it's no secret that even though Android has an overwhelming marketshare worldwide, the majority of that share is from, less affluent users, not the targeted market for Lucid. Take offense, it you must, but facts are facts.

To be clear: this isnāt gentle, and Iād ask you to please do better. Your interpretation is not the most charitable interpretation possible, and that is what we aim for here. We all have disagreements; itās how we all learn.
Also, heās not wrong. People with iPhones have higher incomes on average. People who buy Lucids also have higher incomes on average, over and over again, across multiple studies.
Thus, it is not absurd to surmise that the intersection of those two groups might be higher, as is evidenced by the overwhelmingly higher percentage of people who own both Lucid Airs and iPhones in the US as compared to those that own Lucid Airs and an Android device - we can see that from the poll on this forum as well.
Iām not sure what youāre trying to say here, and in the vein of taking the most charitable interpretation, could you please clarify? It sounds like sarcasm but it simultaneously sounds like youāre proving the counterpoint?
[0] No study to support this, but it seems obviously true; people with lower incomes quite literally cannot afford a Lucid Air as compared to, say, a Model 3 or a cheaper ICE vehicle right now.

For specifically the "once you are inside" comment, I believe he was referring to the visceral driving experience you get with a Lambo or Ferrari. Also, is there any worldwide data similar to the one cited, as we are specifically talking about that?

I know that. But you get that with a Lucid too. The reason I love this car (and most do) is because of how it drives, not because of CarPlay. Thatās why I said he was proving the counterpoint, and it seems confusing.

That said, I have no reason to believe it would be different elsewhere; iPhones are, on average, more expensive than Android devices - that already leads to necessitating a higher income on average. In addition, every study ever done on the topic has shown that people with iPhones spend more money, on average, on apps and in-app purchases and subscriptions, also leading one to assume those owners have more disposable income.
Thatās not proof, but without any data disproving it, I tend to align myself with Occamās razor; itās not a very far leap.

The Lucid does drive amazingly well as others will tell you, but even you have to admit there are more "emotional" cars in terms of powertrains and other things (like the r8 you liked, for example)!
That could be true, and I will do more research into it. Where my parents come from, to give an example, expensive androids are preferred over iPhones because iPhones have a "spoiled brat" or "new money showoff" reputation for some reason. I know this may out me as not a traditional motorhead, but I have to say, I don't want my car to huff and groan and let out smelly dinosaur farts when I drive it. I want it to drive. Between you and I, Lamborghini messed up the exhaust completely, when comparing V12 and V10.
A few car&coffee meets I attended.
V10 sounds better.
A very well known guy (hint, only 3 copies were made) complained about the same.
Agreed on all.

It is clear that Lucid staff monitors this forum. Given all the comments about Android Auto I would think Lucid would have the good sense to comment on the issues regarding the implementation and provide a projected schedule.
Interesting statistics. I didn't realize that Android phones are so much cheaper. I tend not to think of it that way. I have an Android phone and the rest of the family has/had iPhones. My phone cost more than either of theirs.
The most expensive Android phones are as much as the priciest iPhones. Most Android users buy much cheaper Android phones. Apple has nothing that cheap. Although there is the SE, as well as one or two prior generation phones Apple continues to sell.
Itās important to keep in mind in all this talk of āAppleā vs āAndroidā that weāre not talking about one company vs. another. Itās Apple vs dozens of other companies combined.
Apple just outsold Samsung in Europe last quarter. Itās not like they are a small player over there.

I never denied that. I still love the R8. If I had disposable cash, and room for another car, you bet your ass I'd be in one.
But again - that wasn't what was being discussed. In any case, it's a moot point now.
My personal choice is samsung. Just cant get used to Iphone or any apple products. More comfortable with Windows and Android ( there I said it). Grew up where the only apple I knew grew on trees and windows meant computer systems that crashed more often. Lol
