Android Auto Thursday

...Hopefully somebody at Lucid will say let's start over and do their software design right this time. It's still early enough to do it right.
The word is that they did indeed start over on UX3.0, which may reach production first in Gravity and then port back to the Air. I'm hoping that the result is something like you mentioned, an app-centric hybrid bringing the best of both worlds. For £#(&$'s sake, Google Maps.

And Waze, which I consider to be the cream of the crop as far as navigation systems go.

if you ask me, Android Auto hasn’t been released because of a looming partnership with Apple. It’s the only explanation. Every vehicle has Android Auto, it’s not hard to implement. There is a deeper reason here why it hasn’t been released. Ever wonder why in the Lucid Videos they all wear Apple Watches? Time will tell.
There is no partnership between Apple and Lucid. And making Android Auto work in the Air would not have any impact whatsoever, positive or negative, on such a partnership if Lucid were to implement it.

It's too cartoonish for us, though we do use to to double-check Google whenever there is an accident, etc. Fortunately we have a choice of either native to AAOS/GAS.

I switched to iphone this week after using Samsung phones for the last 10 years. Partially for work, partially to better integrate with apple TVs at home and with family members, but also because I got tired of waiting for Android Auto. It's a sad day. But I do like the wireless Carplay.
Boo!!! 😂😂😂😂

What time is on the watches?

Viewing all the new functionality in the updates but still not seeing Android Auto on the list

True, although in design I'd say Apple Maps wins. I just wish Google put Waze's features into G maps.. theres no obvious downside I can see. One app store could solve all of this, where we could have both of them!

The latest!
Lucid, finally, releases the long awaiting upgrade to an Android Auto.
Sorry for not waiting for the next Thursday, but this is so exciting.
