Google is rolling our the new, flexible form-factor version of Android Auto. Hope this makes it to our Airs soon:

The reason why Android Auto was not released with CarPlay is because the outstanding Software Engineers at Lucid are putting the finishing touches on the new version of Android Auto.

I wonder if this is the reason for the delay in AA coming to Lucid. Google needed to ensure a proper release first.

Google bought Waze a long time ago, but never bought all their features into Google Maps. I used to use Waze because it had a HOV lane setting. So if you had an EV with access to HOV lanes, it would give you directions using those.
