FEATURE 2024 Wishlist Survey

I mean, for that example specifically, I would say there still needs to be some alert for it. People not experienced with EVs may very well crash due to the natural characteristics of the battery. There must be a way to make it subtle, although that probably takes a lot of time as you have to integrate it well AND figure out how to make it subtle.
Sure, but I think the point is that legally, they're fairly well protected; it is not new to Lucid, and it's spelled out clearly in the manual, which anyone driving a car should be expected to read.

That said, in 10-20 years this won't be true - kids won't know how to drive gas at all. Until then, I'd be fine with a little dash icon explained in the manual.

If regen is limited due to a cold battery or a full battery, they should increase brake blending so that to the user there is no percepible difference when using 1PD. That's how the Mach-e works. I am surprised Lucid has not taken the same approach. No warning is needed and no safety issue exists if they do that.

Rivian just released an update that does just this. Haven’t experienced it yet though

Just wondering if a new item could be added to the list. Currently with the app, one can set the interior temperature (and defrost). Can we request that seat warmer and other environmental features be included in the app?

I believe that is already on the list.

This is exactly what I suggested to Emad Dlala of Lucid who is in charge of this in Lucid when we met in Pleasanton. With one pedal driving we should not have to worry about brakes not working or how well they work based on SoC or ambient temp. If the SoC is near 100% use hydraulic max for example. This is really a safety feature.

Exactly. I’m told this is why Lucid has been reluctant to have too many alerts (such as a low regen when charged to 100%, just as one example). I think it’s up for debate which alerts are totally worth it and which ones are unnecessarily distracting. But they do struggle with deciding these things.

The problem I have is having unnecessary alerts, as well as necessary ones that use the same audible tone as less critical ones. It's easy to miss a more critical one.

To be fair, that information is in the owners manual. Recommended reading for all owners.

Yes. It is. I know that.

I wonder if the software survey has a wish list item like this how many would have asked for it.

Braking should be blended to be independent of SoC or ambient temp solely based on the preferred level of regen.

Can you create a new survey just to include that and the top ones? I would really like to know if the above bubbles to number 1.
The point totals indicate the total number of votes for the item.

1602 - Sentry Mode (cameras record while unattended)

1555 - Dash Cam Mode (cameras record while driving)

1400 - Dream Drive Pro additional features

1264 - Android Auto

1059 - Option to view actual miles remaining based on real-world history instead of theoretical (EPA) miles remaining

This survey is still ongoing. We will see what comes to the top. I've already spent way too many hours doing this!

OK. Got it. I know that it took a lot of effort.

Is there a reason why general performance is not covered anywhere in the wishlist survey? The time it takes to change profiles, the time it takes to load nav every time you get in the car, inputting a destination has lag, etc... is it because the CPU is just too old and no optimizations can be done?

I think further optimizations can be done. Profile switching, in particular, is grating for me.

Did you ever your car back before the 2.0 days? This is a huge improvement. I do agree the profile switching is way too slow, though. That’s why one of the wishlist items is having direct access to profile settings such as seat position, etc. without the full on profile switch.

lol no, but even 2.0 is slower than every other car i've owned.
