Ordered February 14, 2022. Therefore batch is March 2022. Red exterior. Air Grand Touring

Ae you planning on installing PPF and if so, who will you use? Darien Detail?
Not planning on PPF - is it recommended? Have never done that for any other cars (2 Model S over past 6 years..)

I would at least do a full front

I will be doing the full front and the trunk wear area. If you drive at all on the high speed interstates you are bound to come upon semi's or various other large tire trucks. They tend to throw rocks from their tires and thus any car with a low profile or sloped nose will pick up rock chips eventually. If you have the PPF there is a good chance the rock won't penetrate into the paint and a patch or replacement piece of film is much less hassle then trying to repair a paint chip. Ceramic treatment on the entire car won't protect from rocks but it does make the car much easier to keep clean.

Full front and trunk here too, if not the entire thing. My last two cars had more than enough chips from driving the 101.

Are you getting it done at Deep Reflections? They seem to have the best reviews locally.

My guess is that they will try to deliver one Air GT by the 28th of February before the earnings phone call so that they can say, while we missed the Q4 delivery target we have now produced all the Dream editions AND we are now delivering Air GTs to customers, and quietly say but we will only produce 15,000 for this year due to supply chain issues. blah, blah, blah
Lucid made no mention of a Q4 delivery target during their Q3 call. The recording of the Q3 call is archived on the investor page of the Lucid website.

Yes, I had my Panamera done there and they did a great job. All I need now is the car. Where are you located?

Any preferences/opinions on this versus OCDetailing?
OCDetailing has already done at least three Lucid Airs so they do have the experience. When I spoke with Alejandro at Deep Reflections recently I don't believe he has yet done any Lucid cars, so I will most likely be the first or one of the first assuming I get my car soon. Even so, I know Alejandro will do an excellent job and he is close by so that is where I'll be going.

ICYMI: Someone's Grand Tourings are now visible in the lot.
It is hard to spot, but in newest Bear's Workshop video from 2/16 there is a GT in the third row facing west and four down from the top of the row. You can see it at 7:05 into the video. Can't tell if that is a new GT or if it was there during the previous flyover because you can't see the wheels of the Air in that space during the previous fly over. My hunch it is a new GT since the car is in a slightly differnent position and you can now see the wheels. Good News!

Could it also be a GT destined for a studio for test drives?

Until someone gets a GT delivery date or we see a lot more GT's in the Bear's photos, we cannot read much into seeing a small number GT wheels.

According to @Travis Morgan, the first GT customer deliveries are scheduled for March. Assuming the absolute latest 4-month window is March 2nd.

How can you tell a GT from a Dream Edition? Thought they both had same exact body - just different battery packs.
