After the car spent about six weeks at Goose Island, I was able to pick it up at Short Hills, NJ yesterday. Great (day after) Fathers Day event. Kept thinking it was going to be delayed again, but they came through with the promised timeline. I followed the checklist and only found one issue with the driver seat cooling so they will be fixing that later this week.

Great drive back to Westchester but there is a little stickiness in the steering column, not sure if others have experienced that.

Now scheduling the front end PPF.
 
Placed my reservation awhile back and had it confirmed on March 29, 2022. It's for a Grand Touring in Zenith Red with the 21" Aero Blade wheels and Tahoe interior.

I still don't have a VIN. The last time I heard from my advisor was back in April. I was told to expect a VIN sometime in mid-to-late June.

Congratulations! Your post prompted me to give Lucid a call. I’ll be taking delivery in NJ as well.

I was told the vehicle was marked ready for delivery this morning, finally. Now waiting for my service advisor to give me a call when she arrives at the office.

Took delivery of my AGT Arizona Red today at Goose Island.
Ten weeks since my VIN was issued but it well worth the wait.
Car is beautiful and even though this was my first drive,

I hardly needed to use the break peddle on the way home (only 1.5 miles).
Information overload in place during orientation but so far exceeded expectations. Edward out of Oak Brook was very through during the process.

Reached out to my DA for an update on when a VIN may be assigned for my 4/19 confirmation and here's his response:

"The estimates I have have been getting for the VIN updates have been fluctuating pretty rapidly. I am hoping the VIN will be assigned within the next 6 weeks."

I think that would hopefully put delivery around mid September barring and unforeseen extended review periods or production delays. 🤞

Interior changed from Tahoe to Santa Cruz today, June 21, 2022. New order confirmation still shows the same date of May 17.

Ten weeks since my VIN was issued but it well worth the wait.
Car is beautiful and even though this was my first drive,View attachment 2937 I hardly needed to use the break peddle on the way home (only 1.5 miles).
Information overload in place during orientation but so far exceeded expectations. Edward out of Oak Brook was very through during the process.

Clicked the link at bottom of email and would not work. So I tried calling direct line and it was disconnected. I called main number and a very nice person, Felipe, informed me that my DA no longer works for Lucid and is working elsewhere. I understand that people leave a company, but it would have been nice to be informed of this and who my new DA is. Yet, another example of poor communication. I had sent an email to my prior DA 10 days ago which was never returned regarding having service center take aero covers off the 19 inch wheels and putting silver disk and lug not covers on if possible prior to delivery. I guess I now know why I never received a response. Car still stuck in Goose Island with many others. I hope that this change in DA now does not delay my delivery even further. I understand the supply chain delays, just getting a bit frustrated by poor communication. :mad:

So seems like we have the same DA.

I called, confirmed my DA is no longer there, was told my new DA would call me soon. It's been 24 hours, so I decided to follow up. The guy transferred me to the delivery team's main line and no one answered, went to voicemail after a couple minutes. Called back, the same guy answered and said he is also having an issue getting a DA to speak to me right now. I am told I will get a phone call back today. Weird and scary that no one in the delivery dep. was able to answer the phone...

They've apparently been swamped in meetings all day.

I spoke with new DA today and it appears my car will be done with PDI later today or tomorrow and then just needs to be transported to Short Hills from Goose Island. Hopefully this is soon 🤞

The top almost looks ceramic white in this photo which is tempting me to go this way instead of chrome deleting with black.
