UX 2.5 OTA Update

Thank you ... is the team also evaluating the AQ issues being reported as well? I'm sure that there are more opportunities for tuning, but there seems to be several of us that have identified a marked reduction in audio quality post update and tape fix. Thanks for your help!!!
Yes, I have been gathering feedback and sharing with the team. If there are other characteristic tracks like "Whip It," please let me know. This is very helpful. BTW, you all have great taste in music!

Thank you so much!!!!!!!!

Yes I turned that off.
I am going to try this. Though reconnecting to wifi helped temporarily, I'm no longer able to wake up my car from app again from home. Maybe connecting to wifi is unnecessary after all, if that will help waking the car up. Just so odd that I never had this issue in all the 2.4.x OTA versions.

There was a server-side problem the last couple of days, but that seems resolved now. Quit the app and relaunch it and see if it’ll connect.

Seems like issues are resolved. Tested from multiple WiFI/ISP combinations and things are working fine. As Bobby indicated, looks like sever side issues.

Im a little amazed at this statement. I have owned for about 2 years and I see a steady stream of improvements least of which is more stability to the overall function. There are a few quirks but being a forever Apple follower I find almost all computers have quirks and they generally improve with time. I cant recall when I last did a formal reboot of my car - months ago. Occasionally the door is slow to respond but if I pull my phone out of my pocket - good to go. I just dont see all issues described or maybe they just dont bother me. I dont use the Lucid voice commands as I dont see the need and I probably save myself some grief. I can adjust temp etc without voicing the need. I use Car Play for music, navigation etc and all is fine. Drops a connection occasionally but having been raised with no radio or music out in the desert when signals drop away - I dont really care. Just keep on motoring and enjoy
You might be amazed by my statement because you embellished it...I never said OTA hasn't improved the car since the dawn of the Air, I said since I've owned it (6 month or so) they have barely addressed the core issues that need fixing (XM is better). It's like someone with a leaking roof that keeps buying new furniture and electronics but not investing in repair of the leaking roof. As the car becomes more mainstream, I can assure you the general public will be no where near as charitable with failures that require logo resets, connectivity workarounds, and service center visits as many are here. This car will be murdered in the mainstream as it sits. It's safe to assume we all want Lucid to succeed and thrive, which is where my comments are rooted. Cheerleading is not how things get fixed.

Just saw this. I just got off my second chat today with customer service about not being able to wake my car, and they were not aware of any server problem. Ha! Wish I saw this first. I've reset the car, and reloaded my app and phone several times today. BTW, my car will still not wake.

The proximity stuff works though.

Are you on WiFi? If so, can you disable it in the car and try if that works? If it does, try deleting the WiFi network from the car and add back and see if that works. As a last resort, reboot WiFi router as well.

I'm not sure if I have tried it when my car is not on wi-fi. My wi-fi is provided by my parking garage, so I can't reboot it, but I can try switching to their slower Wi-Fi connection. Customer Service never mentioned checking the Wi-Fi connection. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you can’t switch WiFi, deleting and adding the same one seems to be work as well. Let us know how it went.

I deleted both the fast and slow wi-fi connections and then reloaded them both. Turned wi-fi off and then on, so let it self select the best connection. No luck!

I suppose I can ask my building manager to reboot the wi-fi tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Sorry that it didn’t work. Do you have reasonable ATT signal in the garage? If so, worth a try disabling the WiFi and keeping it on just the cellular?

I've got a very iffy AT&T signal, but I can give it a try tomorrow. Now that I think about it, I did try to wake the car when I was out to breakfast this morning, so I'm guessing it's probably not a wi-fi issue. Judging from @Bobby's note above, it sounds like it might be a server issue. That's a more logical thing to me, as I have never had this problem before without being able to very easily resolve it. Usually, if ever, following an OTA Update.

Thanks!

Anyone been having issues with the Blind Spot video feed being extra laggy? Very choppy.
I’m hoping it doesn’t affect/delay the blind spot warning on the side mirrors.

For non-Dolby Atmos music, I can adjust the balance. But for Dolby Atmos music in Tidal, the slider to adjust the balance is grayed out. Was the latter present prior to the 2.5 update?

I can assure you that I, and many others, could not care less about XM, and it is plenty fine for us. Yes, I hope they fix it (I didn’t even know anything was wrong with it, lol), but everyone has their pet issue.

To be clear, since May, there have been a ton of updates, many specifically to Sirius: https://www.lucidupdates.com/ota-updates.html

No. Balance can’t be adjusted for an Atmos mix.

Hey, @tonybot! After verifying first that I still could not wake the car from inside my condo, I took the elevator down into the bowels of my building, turned the car's wi-fi completely off, and came back upstairs. Lo and behold... The app now wakes the car, despite my very iffy AT&T signal! The app's navigation map still thinks the car is in the water off the coast of Africa, but at least I can now precondition the car remotely when I want to. Thanks so much for the suggestion!!!
