Software Update 2.3.10

About a week ago, a Facebook person was asking the Owners Club to sign up if they're interested in seeing what the software team have been working on in the next big features update who are local to Lucid HQ in Newark, CA. The sign -up have closed early due to overwhelming response but I'm curious what the features are lol.... Of course, there's a NDA signed so I won't know who's in this, maybe someone on these forums

Part of any good NDA is to refrain from discussing whether you are under an NDA. So, you won’t get much here. You’ll just have to wait until the software is publicly announced at this point.

Yeah I agree, at least for those that are not aware, hopefully some big neat features coming up end of the year....

I just updated to 2.3.10 today 08/30/24 at noon pacific

Has anyone experienced “rear parking protection disengaged”. This happens when the car is in reverse. The car stops and switches to drive. This only happened two days in a row recently. Did the logo reset. Waiting to see if it happens again.

Yes, this is becoming a regular nuisance that seems to resolve it self by either doing a soft reset or give it a few hours

I have done this and yes the regen still reverts to standard sometimes. It is a bug, not a fat finger.

When I took delivery of my 2024 lucid air pure base RWD a couple of ago, I noticed that I have sw 2.3.10 from the factory.

For driving modes, I am mostly in Smooth mode:
In a separate car settings menu, I ALWAYS have to select "Low" regenerative braking every time I start up the car to drive.
Unfortunately, it appears to keep switching back to Normal.
Is this confirmed to be indeed a sw bug?

2nd Q: is there a setting which allow the end user to have the option to not update the vehicle software?
Right now on version 2.3.10, I am liking the Alexa integration very much. My kids love using Alexa to call out and play the songs they like.
Super convenient for me as I get to setup my Playlist in Amazon Music offline ; and later get Alexa to play my list in the car.

Please don't take away Alexa from our vehicles! re: I read that 2.4.x removed Alexa in favor of Lucid Assistant.

you don't HAVE to install it, but there are definitely bug fixes that occur with software updates.

For #1 that is the default behavior. I read earlier in this forum that there are EPA rules requiring these settings (smooth, standard regen) for Pures and smooth + high regen for other trims. I have a 2024 pure and I have been through 3 OTAs so far - currently on 2.3.10 and this behavior never changed.

I also heard that if you are multiple versions behind, it will take a tech visit to catch up. Also, keep in mind that some recalls are fixed over the air, and in my opinion, you shouldn't fall further behind.
