UX 2.5 OTA Update

Didn't have time to go through all of the posts. My issue, the mobile key is not working. No matter what i do, deleting/removing the mobile, re,re connecting, nothing works.
The key works thought...

After receiving the email regarding the service repair for the sound system due to the 2.5 upgrade I was told by the service center in Atlanta that they would schedule the repair after they received specific parts. They indicated that the car would have to be brought into the service center (cannot be repaired by mobile service).

With the increased volume and bass, I'm hearing weird noise/buzzing from the rear speakers, something seem to be loose or the vibration is causing the shelf where the speaker are to touch the rear glass.
I vaguely remember @Bobby talking about this a while ago as a common problem in some vehicles.
My car is going to the service center tomorrow, is there a specific TSC I can mention to address this problem?

Parcel Shelf Vibration/Rattle: TSB-N0523-001-02 Parcel Shelf Rework for Squeak Prevention

Perfect! Thank you so much
Np - I've had my car in for service for parcel shelf rattling probably the most times in the entire world of all lucid owners at this point, lol. This TSB is what finally fixed it. They essentially bolt down the entire shelf so it can never rattle again, is what the tech told me, after this specific TSB was implemented. Hope it helps!

Observed that Turn signals is not switching off after the turn. Not sure it's just mine or others have observed this as well.

Would this also address a squeak-esque noise I hear when the vehicle twists (like backing off a curb diagonally one wheel is off before the other)?

I think I know what you're referring to, my guess is yes assuming it's a noise you are hearing from the back of your car. If you have passengers in the back seat and they confirmed it's coming from behind them then yes it should fix it too.

Just tried out the new sound after getting the OTA update this morning. I am blown away by the difference. Has to be one of the best updates I’ve seen yet.

I haven't gotten the 2.5 OTA update for my 2025 Touring yet and I'm getting really jealous of you all!

I've also not received any email regarding the update and that has me concerned. I only picked my car up a couple of weeks ago and I'm not sure if I'm in the system yet.

I'm assuming I need to call customer care to verify that I'm just being impatient.

UX button excessive volume post 2.5 happened to me and many others, but I don’t get the impression that we had a meltdown over it. Literally took 30 seconds to fix it.
Yeah. Took a second to go and reset my preferred levels. No freak out from me. LOL

I'm right there with you. Since the rollout began less than a week ago, I don't think we're at the point of having to be concerned yet.

If your noise is the same one I had, I resolved it by spraying WD-40 Dry Lube under the roof bow. I had spent ages trying to identify the source, and at one point Lucid replaced the rear parcel shelf, but it still remained. I finally figured out it was the roof bow and after spraying generously along the perimeter the sounds went away completely. You will have to spray it again every once in a while when the noise comes back.

I explained here: https://lucidowners.com/threads/rear-deck-creaking-noise.3379/post-173633

I'm not so much concerned that I haven't gotten the update.

The not having received an email yet is a bit concerning since I'm assuming they just bulk sent those.

Nothing wrong with making a quick inquiry to customer service about the email.

Ok, I updated to 2.5 over the weekend and spent some time experiencing it and dialing it in.

Uhhhmmmm, am I the only one who feels like the bass boost is "too much?"

Don't get me wrong! It's a great update to SSP. I do like the recalibration of the volume up/down rate.
The SSP was great before, but NOW it sounds like it's playing in "audio HDR."
And that's without me listening in ATMOS.

However, the bass is..... a lot. Even when I turn down the bass EQ halfway, it's still very much present. Almost muddy in certain songs.
And yes, it does kinda rattle the interior a little bit now, intermittently.

Edit:
At this point, I'm just going to assume "This" is what the people want.
It occurs to me, that whenever Savagegeese review cars and sound systems, they are always complaining about how overpowering and often muddy the bass tuning is, in many many cars today.
Another good example being the McIntosh audio system in Jeeps these days.
Savagegeese calls this system way too bass-heavy and muddy, even when they turn the bass EQ all the way down.
Yet many people online list the McIntosh system one of the BEST they've experienced in a vehicle, especially the strong bass.
So....who knows.
Maybe it's me who's out of touch, LOL.

Not just you. I am not a fan of pounding bass, and I thought the Lucid SSP audio system was very accurately balanced, with a clean, tight bass line. However, my partner thought the Lucid's bass was deficient when compared to his Model S.

However, I think the 2.5.0 update did improve things a good bit. And, for those who like a more bass-heavy balance, the bass is now more "present", but it remains clean and tight.

There may be a cultural component to how people line up on liking more or less bass. My partner was raised in Poland during the Soviet era, and one of our best friends was raised during the same era in Lithuania. Both like ear-bleeding bass. Both grew up listening to Western music that was often pirated, circulated on unstable media that had a limited play life, and played on really crappy equipment. Bass was heard as more a suggestion of something missing than something actually present, and one of the things both found when arriving in the U.S. was that most music had much more bass content than they ever knew. Even today, they just can't shake the notion that exaggerated bass is the hallmark of a good audio system.

Bahahaha!
It must be an Eastern European thing.
Stereotyping I know, but every friend I've had/have from Eastern Europe LOOOOVES that gut punching "Tiesto" bass.
To each their own.

Well, my Tiesto tracks sound pretty good now! Some others, meh!
