When I sent you my initial response, which I pasted in italics below, I neglected to mention three things...Anyone having issues with mobile key after the update? I already unlinked them relinked phone. Car asks for pin every time.
Seriously! I hate not getting able to really be a part of this conversation yet. HahaWho can I pay to be on the early rollout list?
I like the new tuning but agree that there is more bass at the expense of tiny bit of upper treble detail. That said, the old version’s bass almost disappeared once you got up to highway speeds and the new tuning allows the sound to remain full at the same speed.Correct, it was just my opinion, ears are very subjective. I'm part of the few (?) that liked it before, I never thought the bass was lacking. But I also understand that a lot of people love them some extra whoomph, so here we are.
Thanks for this post. My car stopped recognizing my mobile key (Android Pixel 9 Pro) after the 2.5 update, but I did what you recommended and it's now working.I did with my Android Pixel 7, but I followed the instructions on the app, which essentially had me delete the Bluetooth connection, and then establish a new connection. Took about a minute. Just click on the little phone icon in the upper right corner of the app, and click on "Having Issues?" I imagine it would be a very similar process with an iPhone.
Yes, I had the same this afternoon after the update. The sound was really obnoxious to my ears (seems about 5 times louder than normal) and just hunting for a way to turn if off or down just made it keep happening. Reflects badly on the Lucid software folks. Something as basic and common as this should NOT get F*ked up by a software update. I dont recall ever experiencing this kind of flaky software update with Tesla or BMW. Also Sometimes my Air plays super loud music when i open the door to get in! In order to turn it down or off I have to subject myself to it by getting in the driver seat. I do NOT leave music playing when i get out or play it that loud. One thing I also noticed. Post 2.5, my sounds for UX button presses were turned all the way up so you may want to check levels. Mine were all over the place.

UX button excessive volume post 2.5 happened to me and many others, but I don’t get the impression that we had a meltdown over it. Literally took 30 seconds to fix it.
IMHO the performance at factory settings after the update is terrible. At modest levels with music with bass is overdriving the drivers. You can hear the mechanical limits of the drivers with lots of distortion and vibrations. Listening to music I’ve personally mastered is WAY hot on the low end and muddy. Even with the bass turned all the way down it’s still not right. Major miss…
The same. I pushed quickly to pause the content and adjust the volume. Hey, Lucid's response and phone volume were loud as well, so I adjusted them in the audio settings. Very quick, one-time fix!
This happened to me about a year ago after a past update. I was advised to keep the key fobs in the car when updated to prevent this. Later this deactivate my mobile key, which after I re-linked my phone I now also keep in my car during updates.my mobile key does not work at all after I updated the car this morning.....
Keeping the fobs in the car during an update is not necessary unless instructed by Lucid (which happened once). This happened to me about a year ago after a past update. Since keeping all keys in the car during updates I have not had problems with my keys being unlinked.
Why/how did Lucid hide all this SSP performance until now. Sound and bass blows my mind.
