Touring Order Confirmation and Deliveries

Myn is Jan 11 2022, so really hoping to get the car by end of the year.

I reserved my Touring in September 2020. Haven't heard a peep.

When I called with some questions (charging at home options, cost of options, etc.) I was very pleased with the service. At that point, (late January), I was told to expect a call for my reservation in Q2 with delivery in the summer. I guess we'll see.

Sounds like the standard party line...sales advisors want to help but haven't been provided new information from the manufacturing side.

I would add 6 months to what they said, may be Q4 delivery.

I'm a year behind you. I'm hoping to get delivery late Q3/early Q4.

I am a December 2020 reservation so who knows. Considering all the variables, how many GT’s ordered, how soon they will be predominantly finished with the bolt issue and how many Tourings are ordered the time frame is impossible to know especially since Lucid is not giving out any information. There is another variable in that this forum only represents a tiny part of Lucid potential owners so others may have information we will never hear.

There is a member 3 months ahead of me but depending on batch sizes we may get confirmation near the same time.

For Grand Touring, there were two batches (internally grouped in one batch) of confirmations sent out for 2020 reservations. However, Touring reservations are less than Grand Tourings numbers (supposedly significantly less) so I imagine they may group 2020 orders together in one batch. Their production process should be significantly faster than they were in January. I predict around late April/May for first confirmations to go out.

However, Touring reservations are less than Grand Tourings numbers (supposedly significantly less) so I imagine they may group 2020 orders together in one batch. Their production process should be significantly faster than they were in January. I predict around late April/May for first confirmations to go out.

I doubt it. Delivery mostly Q4.

July 2021 here, and that's the line I've heard from a retail rep about a month ago, although it was clear it was a guesstimate.

May have been a sales tactic, or it may be indicative of how many Touring orders there actually are.

Spend a little bit more money on the Surreal Sound Pro. That would qualify you as for a Q3 slot.

Great catch. Didn’t realize they updated this, they must’ve done so after realizing the delays with Gray and Silver.

Seems like if you want your Touring in Q3, you have to buy glass canopy AND surreal sound pro.

It’s a bummer they removed surround view monitoring from dreamdrive. My old 60k Audi had it. I don’t want to spend 9k to add it.
