Successful delivery today

I also came from model s.

After a couple months, you will realize what Tesla ride quality is go cart compared to Lucid.

Cabin noise is 3x louder in Tesla. Whisper quiet in Lucid.

Braking and acceleration is so smooth in lucid.

Space usages is well thought out in lucid.

Lucid has the few sec delay door that some folks with instant gratificationism just lose their mind over.

Tesla does infotainment better though.

Overall Lucid’s ride comfort completely overshadows their software issues in my opinion. CarPlay also makes up for this for the most part in navigation and music.
Totally agree with this list. On the ride and handling, I was sold during my drive home from delivery. Absolutely sublime. I kept it in Smooth, which was satisfying to a guy who kept the S in "ludicrous" mode as the default. I wasn't even tempted to get on it but when I did it from a roll the following day, the "swell" of the power delivery - so good. The car just keeps pulling. It is orders of magnitude better than my old S - and I did enjoy that car. This is just leagues better.

I ordered a 2025 Fathom Blue Touring from inventory to replace my Model 3 on Thursday. It said available in 2 weeks, rep says I should have it next Thursday or Friday in Plainview. What was your experience with time if you ordered from inventory, or once production started. I changed to new plates from transfer after reading the horror story someone in Plaiview had with transferring plates.
Congratulations! I placed my order on the 15th for an available vehicle and took delivery a week later on the 22nd. Smooth process from start to finish. The studio where the vehicle was associated sold 9 new Airs on the 15th alone, including mine. My advisor noted it was the most single-day sales since their beginning.

I have to admit that is better looking than my 22GT Quantum Gray /Platinum on 19's
Thanks - I think Quantum Grey is sharp as well. If I would have ordered it, I think I'm liking the Platinum more than the stealth for that combo now.

Hi Joshu,
I am replacing my Model 3 with a 2025 Fathom Blue Touring, glass canopy as well. I ordered it on March 22nd, I received the VIN, and it shows that it is preparing for delivery, however my rep is not giving me a date for when it will actually show up in Plainview. I am hoping I hear soon, but just curious how long after you ordered it did you receive information on when you it will be ready for pickup?

FYI, I ordered on a Thursday and found out the following Wednesday I could pick up my AT on Saturday. So...about a week and a half from the order date. My vehicle was in Pennsylvania and was being transferred. As it was explained to me...the car would be brought to Plainview by Monday or Tuesday (the following week) and would be inspected, prepped, detailed and made available "as early as the weekend". This turned out to be exactly the case. GOOD LUCK and enjoy!

My vehicle is at the factory, so I guess that's the difference. Best of luck on your new ride!

I have not received my car, my rep thinks it will be delivered to Plainview around Tuesday and ready for pickup on Thursday or Friday next week. Mine still says in production.

Just spoke to my rep, car is in transit and should be in King of Prussia on Tuesday. She expects delivery anywhere from Thursday to Saturday. She will push for Thursday as that is when I turn in my Tesla. Let me know if you get any more info on yours.

I am assuming you are trading in your Tesla? If so, are they allowing you to trade your car in before your new car arrives? My SA said I have to do this on the same day, however I would like to turn it in sooner. My dashboard is stating 'Preparing For Delivery', which seems further down the line from your stating In Production. I will give my SA a call for an update.

thanks to this forum and all of the great contributors here, I am finally officially joining the Lucid family. View attachment 27431Had a great delivery today to pick up a ‘25 Touring:

Fathom blue stealth (no bear decals - still on the fence :-)
20” aero lite stealth wheels
Mojave leather - 14-way ventilated seats
Comfort and convenience
Dream drive premium
Surreal Sound

Delivery staff were great, car looked better than I remember from my first test drive back in December. Coming from a 2020 Model S Performance. Amazing difference in driving quality, quiet cabin, smooth. I kept it in “smooth” for the ride home. For my 38 mile drive home, here’s my first impressions:

  • I thought I’d miss my Model S. I feel really good about making the switch - this is such a solid feeling car
  • Love the extra awareness cameras during turns and lane changes
  • It seems throttle calibration makes it easier to do more light regen than in the Model S.
  • Standard Surreal sound wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I streamed Apple Music
  • The motor whine in the ‘25 is noticeably quieter than the 24 touring I test drove. I like how it sounds
  • My efficiency on the 38 mile drive was 4.66 MI / kWh. So much better than my old S on its BEST day. Speeds 65-70 mph
Sharing a quick pic from delivery
Nice looking Air! There is one almost just like yours in our garage. My wife's is a 2024. My GT is an early 2022 with 28K miles and still loving it! Just celebrated its 3rd birthday a couple weeks ago.

I leased the Tesla with no buyout, so I’m returning it to them. I got a call from my rep that my car is in King of Prussia. Getting car on Monday! So excited

I spoke to my rep a while ago, still no updates on my delivery. But, excited for you! Looking forward in hearing how your delivery went!

Ah, nice! The more I drive the more I fall under the Air’s spell. Love hearing that those with history on the car are still loving it.

Ah, thanks! Quantum Grey was also on my list along with the Fathom Blue. This one just came up in inventory first so I went for it.
Great choice the car looks fantastic!!

30 months and 30,000 miles on my 22 AGT and its still a stellar automobile, in fact I had a guy roll down his window to ask me about mine today, it happens about twice a month

These are great looking cars. And so nice to not see on at every intersection. Takes me back to being the odd guy driving a Saab BEFORE GM took over. Great cars that not many knew much about. At least that was my experience.
