Seattle Area

How did it workout at Eastside Auto Salon?
I was down talking to them last Friday. Looking forward to your impression. They were great to talk to. A lot of information and options were made available to me. Most of the auto spas i went to had a lot of vehicles in their lot. Bellevue was like going to Costco. I was overwhelmed with options. Let the journey begin.

Where at U Village? I’m just wondering if this was one of the studio’s test drive cars. And if not, would love to hear about the charging experience there with EA as I’m right down the street.
It's great, pretty darn fast. I can walk into QFC and get 5 things, walk out and have +150mi.

The charger upkeep is abysmal - while they have 8 stations (4 charger banks x 2 cables), only one side charges at a time. Usually at least 1, sometimes 2 banks are offline/down. So while there are 8 parking slots/cables, it's usually only 2-3 cars able to charge at a given time.

Just a FYI, that is by design. Only one cable per "pod" is usable at a time. The other cable is just for better compatibility with vehicle sizes and charge port placement.

Who all are in the greater Seattle (or surrounding) area? I am looking to connect with others in the area and talk about location specific information (e.g. any delivery timelines, maintenance experiences, local quirks, maybe an owners meetup when we have our cars?). I would also welcome any recommendations about where to get a PPF install done here (would prefer someone who has prior experience with wrapping a Lucid for when the time comes).
Not sure if you’re willing to make the trip to the Portland, OR area, but I just had ppf done on everything except the silver/light gray of the roof and side view mirrors. I then took it to a guy who does spray dip because I wanted metallic flakes in black over the spots I mentioned. My dip guy and his partner who have been in the industry for years (one even did ppf for years), said it was the best ppf job he’s ever seen. He wrapped all the edges perfectly. He had to do one seam on the whole car and you can’t even notice it on the right side of the trunk. It is literally just a few inches.

The metallic flakes is a change up. I like that. Makes the car stand out from the others. Yes, Portland might be a bit much. The Lucid looks great. Thank you for the information.

Which one of you did I just see in Redmond near the Microsoft campus 😄 red color
Possibly me? XD Sorry for the super late response, I've been off the forums for a decently long time

It was really good. Ben from Eastside Auto took very good care of it and helped me understand exactly what they would be doing and how (this was my first time getting a car ppf wrapped). Can't tell visually that the wrap exists from the outside. I'm going to also get a Modesta coating on top of the ppf soon I think

I agree. Eastside did a great job. I opted for the coating. Waiting the three weeks for the whole packet to cure is tough. My car is screening for a cleaning. I go in on the 27th to be shown how to properly clean and maintenance the full wrap and coating.

Also in seattle, do you mind share your quote?

Off topic but I will second AS10. I have had my AGT for 17 months. It’s a great car to drive. I have had zero issues with it. The only issue with it is that you will look for reasons to go for a drive. Probably accidentally on purpose forget something at the grocery store just so you can go back in the Lucid and grab it🤪. Enjoy the ride and welcome to the Lucid family FormerSdriver.

Anyone in this forum from Seattle and live in Queen Anne neighborhood with a matte grey Lucid, and also a red Rivian R1S? My friend Mark with the white Volvo XC40 EV lives across the street from you, and I was visiting him and gazing at your Lucid, looks great!

Wish I had know you were in the neighborhood. It would have been nice to visit. Not my Lucid in Queene Anne but I am 40 miles out on I-90 in the Foothills. Enjoy your visit. Great weather to be out here.

Welcome to the family. In North Bend. Recently have seen a few Lucid’s driving around in my hood. Funny how they still catch my eye and mine is almost two years old now. A sweet ride. Enjoy.
