Can you confirm that you have CP set at 24 amps?I have my chargepoint plugged into an older 30 amp circuit and still get 21mi/hr, 9kw. It's good for roughly 30% each night.

I am curious as to what the stick-on plate does to the paint underneath and is it easy to remove, meaning stolen. For states that require a front license plate, you may want to consider a license plate decal so as not to reduce your fuel efficiency. I ordered mine for my Texas plates and it is perfect!

Thank you so much for pulling together this list. It has been a huge help. There is obviously a ton of information on this forum. As someone who is getting his GT very soon (I hope), I've been thinking about what items I should consider buying based on others' suggestions throughout the forum. I thought I'd start a thread to put it all together to have it in one place. I'm not including paint protection or tinting, as these already have their own threads.
Interior items:
- All weather mats. Right now, the best options are:
Motor Trend 923-GR Gray FlexTough Contour Liners
WeatherTech Trim-to-Fit Floor Mat
(See @Dortreo's comparison here)
- Scotchgard Auto Fabric & Carpet Water Shield
-LightDims Original Strength(is the passenger airbag light still a nuisance?)Seems to be fixed
- Microfiber cloths to keep the screens clean (Lucid does supply one)
- CQuartz Leather 2.0 - 50ml Kit (111CQL5), Dr. Beazley’s Microsuede Protection- 12oz (DB-MP) and Carpro Forte V4 Professional Windshield Coat - New Version 2021 from Sky’s the Limit Car Care (per @Easyrider949)
Exterior items:
- EZ Spare tire/wheel (coupon code LUCIDSAVE) plus a large black trash bag
NOTE: The bigger wheel/tire will not fit in the frunk, but the smaller wheel/tire does. The smaller option has a limit of 50-75 miles of driving <55 mph, while you can drive for 100s of miles on the bigger one (per EZ Spare).
- Tire change kit (jack/lug wrench/gloves/etc.)
- Car cleaning supplies (see this thread)
Charging:
- Tesla Tap
- Home EVSE (Chargepoint, Grizzl-E, etc.)
Miscellaneous:
- Faraday box/pouch for key (I bought this one)
- Smart garage door opener (Chamberlain MyQ, Tailwind iQ3, etc.)
- Radar detector
Front license plates:
- For those in California, check out License Plate Wrap
- For those in other states, check out Custom License Plates
Back seat protection for pets:
- Orvis Hose-off Seat Protector
- K&H Pet Vehicle Door Protection
Anything I missed? Feel free to post more recommendations and I'll add them to the list as needed.
I am looking for some sort of weather proof mat for the trunk of my AGT. Any good recommendation? There is obviously a ton of information on this forum. Right now it's all cut to fit. I used the generic MotorTrend mat for my trunk as well.I am looking for some sort of weather proof mat for the trunk of my AGT. Any good recommendation?
Also, for more durable weather proof floor mats for driver, passenger and rear seats, are the recommendations in this original post still good, or are there some additional recommendation that actually fit Lucid right out of the box?
Thanks
Footage doesn’t get uploaded to a cloud? My Google nest camera does it, why can’t Tesla? How could they have missed this $ opportunity to charge a monthly fee for Sentry cam footage storage and instead said oh just use USB stick? Does anyone even use USB sticks anymore?Sentry Mode on a Tesla will indeed drain your battery a bit. It's a tradeoff, for sure. When I parked my car at the airport for a week, I noticed the car would lose 5-6 miles per day with Sentry Mode engaged. When I turned it off, it lost a mile every other day or so.
Given the range of the Air, I think it's likely a tradeoff many will be willing to make.
As far as storage goes, that's a good question. Teslas store all their cam footage on an external USB stick you plug into one of the ports in the car. Whether Lucid can support that, I have no idea. The ports for now are for power charging small devices only. But my understanding is that this was a security decision made at the time of initial launch. Those ports may very well be capable of pushing data to the car's computer with an update of some kind.
I doubt the onboard storage has enough room to store as much footage as something like Sentry Mode would require. Sentry Mode is pretty smart about deleting older clips, not saving clips that don't include any "incidents" (i.e. no one comes near your car) etc.
I'm not saying it's a simple thing to add. There's good reason they punted on it so far. But I think once they get the software stabilized a bit, they will want to look into adding it. Just for competitive reasons alone.
I thought it was weird, too. And it’s not like an Apple thing, where they would claim privacy. My Tesla is uploading pretty much everything I do in the car every day, anyway.Footage doesn’t get uploaded to a cloud? My Google nest camera does it, why can’t Tesla? I just ordered them and will report back on fit. I like the design look & the grey version should be a nicer complement to my Mojave than other options.Curious .. I see some folks purchased the Trimmable Weathertechs .. and photos seem pretty good.
My Delivery Specialist sent me a link to a different set BDK Proliner of mats .. has anyone tried these?
There still is lots of places where cell coverage is marginal, so in car storage still has to be a part of any effective solution...Footage doesn’t get uploaded to a cloud? ...
True. But storage is cheap these days. They could include an internal HD dedicated to the footage, and then upload whenever connection is restored. Would easily pay for itself if customers were paying $10-20 per month for the cloud service. There still is lots of places where cell coverage is marginal, so in car storage still has to be a part of any effective solution...
HD is a non-starter in a car (head crashes), it really needs to be solid state. Clould storage is 1/10 of that price. Just let us hook it up to our existing services (google, amazon, dropbox, etc). We already have to pay for our own cell coverage (starting year 2).True. But storage is cheap these days. Yes. I’m old. Hard drive is what old folks like me call any internal storage.HD is a non-starter in a car (head crashes), it really needs to be solid state. Clould storage is 1/10 of that price. Interesting! I'm in a long term wait mode for my AT, but have been researching license wraps for my TX vanity plates. Per a recent conversation with MoniputerLM, he/she indicated license wraps were illegal in TX. Have you had any feedback on yours? I'm wondering if having my front plate handy and putting it up in the front dash if I get pulled over might be a good compromise...For states that require a front license plate, you may want to consider a license plate decal so as not to reduce your fuel efficiency. Curious if you got the mats and what you thought of them. I also have a Mojave interior and thought the grey would blend in well.I just ordered them and will report back on fit. I like the design look & the grey version should be a nicer complement to my Mojave than other options.
Curious, has anyone else purchased the K&H Pet Vehicle Door Protection mentioned above? It stays in place by having a tab that inserts in the window slot, but after trying it I was worried this would damage the rear window screens in the Lucid. Just want to see if I'm missing something, otherwise I would take this recommendation off the list....

Sorry for responding to an old thread, but just had my Lucid test drive in Scottsdale yesterday and I would like to share some information on this.Sentry Mode on a Tesla will indeed drain your battery a bit.
