Just got your Air? Consider buying this stuff

Trying to figure out if the EZ Spare linked in OP works for 19" wheels (vs the 20" they make on site). Can't seem to get a clear answer - has anyone with 19" used?
It works for any Lucud tire size: 19, 20 or 21, since they all have the same diameter.

For states that require a front license plate, you may want to consider a license plate decal so as not to reduce your fuel efficiency. I ordered mine for my Texas plates and it is perfect!

I ordered. And, I don't even drive a Lucid yet. Thanks for the suggestion.

I’m a TX Lucid owner as well, and was told about 18 months ago that a license plate decal would not be acceptable to meet requirements. Have you found out that it is now acceptable? I would be interested in going this direction if it is now approved.

I live in NY so can’t speak to the laws in TX.

I’ve read on the forum that NY does not allow decal plates, however I got them nonetheless 1-1/2 years ago with no problems (so far). I like how they look.

Recently read, “Digital License Plates -
New York State is also testing a new type of license plate technology: digital license plates. These plates use electronic paper technology to display license plate numbers and other information. The plates can be updated remotely, allowing for easy tracking of license plate information. While digital license plates are not yet widely available in New York State, they represent a new and innovative approach to license plate design.”.

I don’t understand the significance, nor have further info.

Good luck!

Unfortunately even digital license plates don’t eliminate the biggest issue some of us have with license plates, the need to mount something that destroys the beauty of the front of the car.

I don’t have a front plate on either my Lucid or my wife’s BMW. In 2 years of driving I’ve gotten one ticket for not having a front plate and that was in a small L.I. town. Since then I installed the Sto N Sho system on her car so that when parked in this particular town, I can temporarily mount the plate.
