Newbie question: How is a UX OTA different from the usual software OTA and what does UX stand for?
User experience. I’m hoping there will be improvements adapted from the Gravity software, which I tested in a prototype vehicle and is significantly different than the Air. The timing of this release along with tomorrow’s Gravity orders makes sense to align both softwaresNewbie question: How is a UX OTA different from the usual software OTA and what does UX stand for?
This is just another OTA, with enhancements of the multiple systems, hence the change from 2.4.x to 2.5. Nice features, but nothing earth shattering. UX 3.0 will be the big change, like 2.0 was when we had been on 1.x.Newbie question: How is a UX OTA different from the usual software OTA and what does UX stand for?
Yup.Anyone in the forum received 2.5, i see my car uploading lots of MB but no download yet.
Yup, I'm sitting the the rear middle seat (best seat in the car for listening to Atmos) as I type this and you can literally feel the back seat woofers as well as the front foot well woofers. Deep bass too. Save your money.Better bass, you say? I’m all ready to add an aftermarket sub to this thing just for even a tiny bit of punch. Please save me the hassle!
Me either. I'm really looking forward to the enhanced sound. These are likely the changes the new Apple sound engineer Lucid hired has made, right?Looking forward to the update. I checked the app and it hasn't been offered yet (2023 GT).
Oh, and they definitely increased the max volume too. Every song is louder on the lower volume levels.Yup, I'm sitting the the rear middle seat (best seat in the car for listening to Atmos) as I type this and you can literally feel the back seat woofers as well as the front foot well woofers. I’m looking forward to this. If it does work well, I’ll be happy to disconnect the small subwoofer I added to the trunk. How will you be able to tell if the trunk woofer is operating? Is there an off switch or something?I’m looking forward to this. If it does work well, I’ll be happy to disconnect the small subwoofer I added to the trunk. Fingers crossed.
Yes, but not excessive in my opinion and I noticed it in the previous update.Anybody noticing excessive slow down on curves when in HA or ACC?
Maybe "excessive" isn't the best word to use. For me I don't see any reason for slowing down at all on most of the curves. I'm hoping they will let us adjust it at some point in the future.Yes, but not excessive in my opinion and I noticed it in the previous update.
