Mentioned last week that a California Lucid employee (NOT our local DA) called last week, saying that we could expect a VIN early this week, with deliver 2-3 weeks later. Well... just got an email saying that the car was in the final stages of production, and would be here next week(!!!!) Still haven't received a VIN, but I guess we need to go rob a bank or something if we're going to pay for it. How long has the BOA/Lucid financing process taken most people?

Update the tracker!! Delivery today. Met Jeff Curry, VP Marketing and communications. Getting a ceramic coating applied Thursday/Friday. The car is amazing. I love driving it. It’s so fast and I have a 911 TTS. So many people want to video it and take photos. They are like what is that?! Even teenagers. It’s crazy. I had someone yelling to me on the LIE asking what kind of car it is.

Just got THE CALL! Lyft picking me up this Thursday morning at 7 for the 2 hour drive down to Seattle to pick up the car. Can hardly wait! Whoo Hoo!

Update and correction:

Had heard from DA and insider friend at Lucid that I should have my car in hand by the end of the month…but now according to DA and the financial department, my car hasn’t even left AZ yet

Correction for the tracker: it’s a GT (not a Performance), not sure how I added that in the VIN update on the 9th, sorry! My bad…

Super excited for all of the updates on people picking their cars up, I was just hoping I’d be included in the 3rd quarter ramp up!

Does anybody else have Tony as their DA? Heard from him back in May about the cosmos silver delays and we opted to wait instead of switching configuration. I've emailed and called to follow up multiple times recently for any updates but he appears to be ignoring me. Family is not impressed.

Took delivery on the 21st, put 500 miles on it in 6 days! It’s not without fit and finish issues but the car drives fantastic and overall an amazing piece of engineering. Hopefully the software and ux improve over time, but for now I’m just enjoying driving the best looking car on the road!

Recent updates with some detail (as reference for others waiting):
Purchase agreement docusign received and notice that car was in transit to HOU: Sep 20, 2022
Notified it had arrived in HOU: Sep 22, 2022
“Final inspection and detail complete”, ready to schedule delivery: Sep 24, 2022
Home delivery in Austin scheduled for Sep 27, 2022!

I was given option for pickup in HOU vs home delivery in ATX but it was only 1 day difference in this specific case, so I’m going with home delivery.

Almost there! Looks like will be 20 days from VIN to delivery.

Delivered 9/27/22 as planned and no issues with the car. Home delivery went really well.
The "Delivery Host" who went through everything was really excellent as well.

Got delivered late in the day so not much driving time but LOVED it so far. Note that it came with SW rev 1.2.185.
