True, that's what I'd expect too but they've kept talking about 80k so hopefully that's not some 2 years in the future price/configuration.

Not a chance that car will be less than 125k msrp for a year or more.

It absolutely will be $80k by sometime next year. We're not in the same boat we were with Air. They can put out multiple trims much quicker now. The only reason to old off on the cheaper version will be the ramp up in demand and the pressure that puts on service.

And unlike some other companies, Lucid isn't in the habit of announcing a cheap trim and then unceremoniously canceling it six months into orders.

Fingers crossed that it happens at that price but I will agree to disagree with you. Rivian has a higher starting price.
