Thoughts on Sitting in a Gravity

Why? I'm tired of trying to hold my phone while driving on Teams calls. And it's hard to read shared spreadsheets on that little screen, so I need to pinch and zoom with my other hand, all while trying to steer......

We live not too far from a small college that is reached by a wide, flat, straight 4-lane divided highway through semi-rural countryside. Three people (including two students) have been killed in the past few years on that road when their cars crossed the grass median into oncoming traffic for no apparent reason, the most recent one colliding with an unmarked sheriff's car that sent the deputy to the hospital.

I have a rather dark guess as to why based on the amount of lane-wandering and rear-enders I see around here.

You must not live in a retirement town where people like to go out dining or to the theater or take day trips in groups. This old man keeps a Honda Odyssey on hand because hauling three older couples around for these things is a regular routine. He bought a Gravity for the same reason. (Plus he still likes high-performance sports cars.)

We do, however, ask the youngest, least arthritic passengers to take the third row -- more for ingress/egress ease than actual seating comfort, which is excellent in both the Odyssey and the Gravity.

Interestingly, with equivalent third-row room the Gravity provides considerably more knee and foot room in the first two rows than the Odyssey as well as longer seat bottom cushions for thigh support. Even though the Gravity has a slightly longer wheelbase than the Odyssey, I had not expected this much difference. It's another one of those Lucid packaging miracles they keep pulling off.
