I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to do tint this time. I've gone without it for 10 years but now that I will be driving a luxury car I'm more inclined to not want people seeing or looking through.

Leaning towards no because I like night driving. But it's also just pretty to view sceneries without tint. For those not going with any tint, what's your reason?
Same as yours, night driving and just overall clear visibility.

Posting for the good of the community. I did the following:

70 - On the windshield AND on the driver/passenger roof
50 - Driver and passenger door (I didn't want too dark up front for night driving)
30 - Everything from the B Pillar back (rear passenger doors/rear window (rear window pending crack repair))
30 - Roof over the rear passenger seats

I used a stronger tint on the windshield that I was warned has a slight blueish hue to it under some lighting conditions. I never notice this and it does not impact me at all when driving at night. I am glad I did the windshield because I believe it will reduce harm to my leather dash.

Regrets.....Yes. It is not yet summer, and I already feel the heat of the sun blasting through the roof over my bald head. If I had it to do over, I would put something more than the 70 over my head. I may add another layer.

I don't have a bald head, but the 70% PhotoSync has never let me down in the AZ sun. I've had it on several Model X's, also, with minimal heat.

You guys with hair have all the luck :) (Still, that is good to hear)

Do you have a pic of your tint just wonder what 30s plus 15s look on lucid?
Sure, this is what mine looks like with the 30 and 15. Maybe I should take one with someone inside so that you have a better idea of how dark it is?

I just checked the receipt from my tinting and realized I was off by a bit in my prior post. I did 35 on the forward windows and 15 everywhere else. It is definitely not too dark at night. I really like it!
What is it like looking through your rear window at night? Do you just see headlights any visibility on 15s ?

I got ceramic 35 all around and 70 on windshield for $800. The windshield was installed outside to (hopefully) protect from minor rock chips, but they said there's nothing big enough so they had to cut the borders.

It doesn’t look so bad 35s I think it helps that the winshield is tinted. I am thinking 35s plus 50s winshield might be the perfect set up

Updating with pics. I am happy with the look. I don't find the 50 up front to look odd next to the 30 in the back. It is a pretty subtle difference.

I ended up doing 20s all around and 50s on the winshield.

This set up was perfect no complaints at all!

I've got a car that sits ourdoors all year round and would like to protect my interior. I've heard 3M Crystalline is the best tint out there for this purpose? Also are there any tint out there where you don't get the light refraction affect at night with the rear window?
I used xpel prime plus

I THINK all the nano-ceramic get a slight reflection in the rear.

That and XPEL prime plus are roughly tied for the top spot.

I did 20% tint on all four side windows and rear window. Nothing on the front windshield. Ceramic tint. Looks amazing on my black Lucid. Matches the glass roof nicely. No issues seeing through and nice privacy without being too dark.

I live in FL and I have tinted most of my cars. I was thinking about not tinting my GT but seeing some of the pics here I may change my mind.

do the sun shades in the rear help keep the car cooler?

A little.

I've been reading on these forums for over a year and since new deliveries of the Dream Edition and the people with the new AGT have always said they got stares, and people always approaching them, etc..

It may be winter so people don't want to step in the cold. But during my road trip and total time owning the car, I've only had a handful of people ask me about the car, mostly curious what it is because they've never seen it.
And I'm happy to talk about it, but I don't get looks or stares, and don't notice many people following me around with cameras.

So no tints for now for me. I enjoy the views of the mountains and lights and city.
We differ on the tint , as I decided to do 20% all around and 50 on the front windshield as it’s hot on the West Coast. I do agree the car doesn’t garner much attention camera/stares/ etc but it’s a great car overall.
