Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

I don't know why people keep insisting things are software issues when it's hardware that isn't shipping and software can be addressed in future updates.

HUD is not working in AR mode yet, period, and I'm not aware of anyone having seen a working prototype of a fully enabled HUD - only the (admittedly cool) renderings that were done inside a computer. The HUD as it is functioning now is not particularly impressive IMO - more or less equivalent to an aftermarket HUD you could purchase separately. Also apparently dim from most claims I have seen - though maybe it is functioning better for others. Still, overall, it's not encouraging that it's covered over in so many demo cars (as it was for me on my test drive).

Unrelated but I saw this video in YouTube today about Lucid officially taking over the Nickola site:

I dropped by the KOP facility this afternoon. No Lucid Gravitys on didplay inside to be examined. Six Gravity's for customer pickup at some point were parked out front. Green and black, and the black looked killer to me and my family, and the green looked better in person than in images. I saw an Air inventory Zenith Red indoors-really nice looking.

Thanks for the update David R and the pics. The last I checked with a team member at KOP (a few weeks ago), they were told they should have a test-drive unit by mid-July. We'll see, but they'll eventually receive a unit for test-drives. The longer prospective buyers (like me) wait, the better IMO. There are still several unresolved issues (I won't list them again) Lucid needs to resolve before I would consider buying a Gravity. And I still haven't driven it so I don't know yet if it's the right SUV to replace our EQS 580 SUV, but I look forward to eventually driving a Gravity.

The KOP Studio/Service Center is very nice and the staff are friendly and helpful!

Agree 💯! Nice people. We are back in Florida for a month so may wander over to Riviera Beach to see the inside and hopefully test drive one. Will check ahead of tome of course. They cancelled my computer upgrade appointment for the 30th of July as they are waiting on parts. Found out that they can do the upgrade via remote service but they need strong signal reception for the OTA update.
