Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

Why would test drives only be available until June 15? Do they have their own demo for test drives or is it there on loan only?
I believe it's a sort of road show, the email I saw about it indicated they'd be traveling to various locations around the country. The Gravity I drove today did not have PA plates.

Usually when I do a test drive it takes me time to feel comfortable with the car. The Gravity had some X factor that made me immediately comfortable with it. Very impressive.

Yes Sir that is correct!
Our Lucid Gravity is currently staged for display as well as Demo Drives in the King of Prussia Mall until June 15th. The mall is right across the street from our Studio and our Lucid display is right outside of the Nordstrom Court inside the mall.
With that being said, Our Gravity Demo Drives are on a First Come, First Serve basis meaning that there is no need to register and book an appointment, feel free to come down at your own convenience for your Demo Drive experience!”

Guess I’ll pop by an afternoon this week
You may want to reserve a spot; they had back to back appointments today.

I just called the KOP Studio and as was posted above, they are providing test drives at the KOP mall (not at the Studio) until June 15 but those test drives are limited to just around the mall property. They are not taking that Gravity out on surface roads. I live an hour away and I'm not interested in a ride around the mall at 20 mph. I ask when they will have their own Gravity for longer test drives on the highway and he said they were just told one should be available by the middle of July. They added my name to a call list when it arrives so my wife and I can take it for a real test drive.

I also ask him if CarPlay is working in the Gravity. After putting me on hold for an about five minutes, he confirmed it was indeed working. I'll test that myself in July when we can take it for a proper test drive.

Thanks for sharing the booking link! Communication with Lucid is so inconsistent. Neither my SA nor the KoP Studio could confirm whether there would still be test drives on Saturday. So glad we’re all looking out for each other in this group. Got test drives with Gravity, Ioniq9 and ID.Buzz on Saturday. Very excited to see the differences!!

The fellow I spoke to at the Studio also said test drives at the mall were first come, first serve. He said it will be there through June 15 even though the booking link goes until the 14th. 🤔

The test route I took today was on regular surface streets, and a small portion on a limited access highway. Yes, the route is technically around the mall property, but the KoP mall is the second largest retail space in the country. The route is a good showcase for the Gravity.

Do you mean the loop around the mall itself? Or did you go outside of the mall property onto 202 or one of the other surrounding highways?

Outside the mall property, up past the Lockheed plant and down to 202 back to mall blvd

Thanks for the post and I wasn't dismissing that route as helpful, but it doesn't allow enough time for a thorough test of the vehicle and its capabilities. The Studio said as much when I spoke to them yesterday. I'd like to take the Gravity on the PA TurnPike to the Plymouth Meeting exit, then down to Conshohocken, and back to KOP up the Schuylkill so I can try DreamDrive 2 Pro, wireless CarPlay, and a few other areas of interest to me and my wife.

3rd largest- the American Dream mall in NJ surpassed it a few years back

but, heck I test drove the Air pretty much on the same route you described 3 weeks ago

... but the KoP mall is the second largest retail space in the country.
well, it's a big collection of buildings, but devoid of shoppers. Yes, it is a "space". Good word for it.
The route is a good showcase for the Gravity.
Because an SUV is not to be taken off the road.
The whole point of a large vehicle is to give the driver a sense of control. The irony is so American.

Just got back from 10 days in London and Paris.
The only SUVs I saw (none in Paris) were bespoke Range Rovers on Embassy Row (Mayfair). You could tell they have never been muddy.
Almost all the vehicles in London and Paris were cars, especially small cars with manual transmissions...diesels abound. Teslas and EV-spec Mercs.
Not a single Lucid anywhere. Not even at the Saudi embassy.

Test drove the Gravity this afternoon and am happy with my order (I won’t get until the winter)
Slight complaint is the pillar is a bit obstructive but still ok
The test track is as described above

Others who have driven a Gravity also commented on the thickness of the A-pillar. I may drive out to KOP tomorrow to give it a drive around the mall. Thanks for your post!

That A pillar is definitely thick, but I think it's slightly better than the Air. That may be merely because the driving position is a bit further away from the pillar.

Yes having test driven an air a few weeks ago my biggest fear was the pillar
I wouldn’t get an Air based on that alone. The Gravity is tolerable however and its equatable to my Tesla Y which also has an annoying pillar

You stop noticing it after like 3 days, especially on the Gravity.

It was one of my initial worries with Air too.
