It is with great sadness that I announce that I have bought an Ioniq 5 and will no longer be active on this forums. I have appreciated all of you and will definitely miss the discussions we've had!

Thanks for your contributions. And enjoy the Ioniq 5. There are a few in my neighborhood here now, and their owners appear to be very happy.

Thank you for all you contributed to this forum, especially the trackers - I obsessed over those things more than I care to admit. Best wishes and enjoy your ioniq 5!

Would be interesting to learn how the Ioniq won over the Air, too.
Back in February, I almost bought one had it not been for the $5K over invoice local dealership wanted.

Thanks for all the info. I am truly wondering if I should have went with the Tesla Model S Plaid. Not as nice but would go well with the spouse's Model 3. I am waiting it out until Christmas. Good luck.
 
@mnewber1 curious why you chose the Ioniq? It’s a great car! Enjoy it.

Nobody has bothered to ask why you made the switch to an Ioniq5. I would really appreciate if you would be kind enough to share the reasons for such a drastic switch from Lucid to a compact from a sub brand of Hyundai.Thanks

They are pretty much different vehicles other than being electric, lol. I assume that he needed a car sooner and was unwilling to wait. Nothing against Lucid.
