Android Auto Thursday

I no longer care if they add it or not. The carlinkit connects on a regular basis now. It must have had something to do with recent updates. My calls are even working via the car and not having to use the speaker. I am happy I did not get the iPhone.

Congrats though on the new ride! You'll love the car but you too will join us every Thursday... the proud 20%.
 
Speculation on my part ... AA will come out when the lower priced sedan comes out. My rationale is that vehicle will be targeting an audience who is a bit more cost conscious and therefore are more likely to have an Android versus the target market for Air & Gravity.

Additionally, the target market of the lower priced sedan might very well consider AA as a must-have feature prior to purchasing.

This might actually make some sense. I for one paid for my Lucid by redeeming aluminum cans I collected in affluent neighborhoods, but I found my Android phone in a slum dumpster. Guess I'll have to move to more upscale dumpsters! :)

One thing I predict, ec256... When the day comes to re-release Android Auto, and that day will come, I'm willing to bet that the Lucid Software Team will launch that OTA update at dark-thirty on a Thursday morning, and then 'push' that release specifically to you, so that you wake up to the notification. It's only fair that you should be the first to get it!
