Vampire Drain Analysis

There is simply no way your laptop is faster than that. You are thinking of just pressing the power button, which puts it to sleep. In my experiences with M1 Macs, iPhones, and i7 laptops, none boot faster than the car from a reset when ACTUALLY shut down.
My Mac boots in less than 30 seconds.

That is just one computer vs many in Lucid which also need to be in sync with others in the car.

Relative energy loss
Lucid Air GT = -4.4kWh/85.12kWh = -3.75%
Rivian R1S = -14.85kWh/103.95kWh = -14.3%

VERDICT:
Lucid Air GT lost 0.31kW per day
RivusnnR1S lost 1.06kW per day

During 14 days, I didnot access Lucid Air in mobile app. However, on R1S, I checked Rivian app 3 times for notification of new OTA update to be preliminarily ready for Tesla charging station appear in native navigation system.
 
One more datapoint if it helps - I was out of country for 5 weeks and my car was charged to 80% when I left. It was not plugged in.
Out of curiosity on how the car is doing, I used to wake it up remotely 1-2 times every week to check on battery charge, interior temperature.
After 5 weeks by the time I returned home, it was down to 69% SOC. Not bad I think, given my continual communication.
Edit: I also installed a couple of OTAs during those 5 weeks. So that might have contributed to the drain as well.

-11% in 35 day + couple OTA updates is actually very impressive result.

with all due respect there is very little knowledge regarding vampire drain in the car being shared in this thread.

I really don't care about what tesla or rivian or other EV owners are experiencing.

I currently have an Ipace that has ZERO vampire drain and recently disposed of a Taycan 4s that rarely showed any sort of vampire drain, in addition I suffered with the tesla vampire drains on 3 different cars, big deal! who cares?

the question looking for answers is about LUCID vampire draining

so the question is, is losing 10+ miles a day on my '23 AGT normal?

I do not wake the car via the app.
I live in florida, so there is no excessively cold days or nights
the car is kept overnight in a climate controlled garage

so is there anyone who can advise me on what is going on with the car that it is draining so much energy?

Commonly, faster vampire drain is caused by having the mobile phone key or fob too close to the car, causing it to wake repeatedly when not in use. Opening the phone app to check on charge also wakes the car and increases drain.

I keep my fobs in faraday pouches when not in use, as we store them near the car. I'm not sure if this is still necessary.

Same. When my car sat for three months waiting to be worked on by the body shop, it lost less than 1% per day. Vampire drain much higher than that is either from frequent wake ups, or something that would be worth checking by service. Many many users have reported similar low vampire drain. It’s not a problem when all is functioning properly.

1/4 of 1% per day seems to be the consensus.

Do you have Wi-Fi connected in the car? This can use a little bit more. Also, do you have passive unlocking turned on? This can use a little bit as well. Change your range indicator from miles to % and see how much percent is lost on an average day.
 
Moral of the story…. Wait for the Gravity to come out. don't buy a Rivian!

(The goal is to keep the threads/info condensed; asking here was the right thing if there isn’t already info for you. That’s the only reason the thread was moved. Perhaps we should have merged it instead. Noted for next time.)

the car is way out of range of the key fobs or wifi or blue tooth. the car resides in a ground level garage and I am five floors above it in a concrete building.
maybe it is worth contacting lucid. I'll need to document the actual range losses.
