I was out of town for 2 weeks. The day before I left I charged to 60% and unplugged the car. The next morning before I left, the car was showing 59% SOC. After two weeks our of town, the car is still showing 59% SOC implying that the vampire drain is almost zero now. Previous trips out of town, I would lose about 0.25% per day. Lucid recently replaced my HV battery so I am wondering if the reduced vampire drain is from an undocumented OTA or from the new BMS in the replaced battery. I am guessing the later.

Has anyone else chaecked vampire drain after their HV battery replacement?

I charged it for you. You're welcome.

No surprise. It got so damn hot in Phoenix that even the vampires left town!

It’s just memory retention and update bug with Lucid while parked. Mine showed the same SOC @57% after a week long vacation. The battery level dropped by 2-3 %points upon driving the first quarter mile.

While this would not have surprised me, it is not what I am seeing. The SOC% and the kWhr used on the trip display were consistent for 20 miles and reflected energy used for that drive. The near zero vampire drain is real.

I’ll let you know my experience after my HV battery is replaced some time in the coming weeks.

Vampire drain in Lucid ir real and it's way more than any of you say.
At least 1-2% per day. This is a huge disappointment.

What temperature is your garage?

Definitely not true if you are not waking it up. I have tested it multiple times for 2 or 3 week periods and it is under 1% a week.

Ranges from 44 to 99 F. Not sure why that would matter...
At extreme temperatures, some EVs warm or cool the battery to avoid damage. I'm not sure if/when the Air does.

It is now winter in Arizona! That's why vampire drain is reduced!😉

That post was from June so it is not the recent nice weather here. I usually don't leave town this time of year so who knows what I would see now. To me the vampire drain is low enough to not worry about at all.

My vampire drain is very low. I usually plug in almost every night, but recently I left it unplugged and didn’t drive for almost a week and I hadn’t lost any battery at all.

They’ve made nice improvements in this area since I got the car two years ago. Back then, I’d lose maybe a percent per day. Which I also thought was fine. But now I don’t worry about drain at all.

I wonder what the cause of the vampire could be. We definitely have a daily loss. Perhaps 1% or less but definitely noticeable in miles.
Will know more when I park it at the airport for a while.
Maybe communication (WiFi/cell)?
