First time away since I got my Air. Was super curious to see what kind of drain I experienced. Unplugged my Air, Sunday after charging to 70%. Did not check/wake up the car all week. Arrived home this afternoon. Basically 6.5 days. Car was at 69%. Am pretty pleased. Didn't know what to expect since some people have experienced more significant "vampire drain".

(Unrelated comment....while waiting for my Uber at the airport an (Uber) Air pulled up to pick up the guy in front of me...Assume that was at least an Uber XL.)

Went on vacation for 6 weeks. Left my AGT unplugged at 80%. Also ran a software update while I was gone plus I checked on the % left 3 separate times. Came back, car was at 69%. Plan on going to Palm Desert for 10 weeks this winter. Plan to set it again at 80% and leave it unplugged for the entire 10 weeks. Don't see the advantage of leaving it plugged in. Vampire drain was minimal when I put the key in a faraday pouch while I was away.

well that's EXTREMELY impressive. way better than my Tesla. Just picked my Lucid up last week. will try next week as I'll be away for a few days

I prefer the term "angel's share." Instead of vampire drain. Thats what the Scots distillers call the difference/loss through evaporation between initial distillation of whiskey and final bottling.

Apt metaphor. I’m from Kentucky and we prefer to apply that to bourbon. Along with the “devil’s cut” that is absorbed by the white oak barrels.

Suddenly draining your battery sounds delicious

I am sure the Scots do not mind you borrowing the term. 😎

I always though Angel's Share was just an excuse to explain to the UK excise "tax man" where the missing whiskey went.

For a great bit of Scottish trivia on whiskey distillation, Check out this post. I have seen several.
