UX 2.5 OTA Update

Today, I got to experience curb rush alert function for the first time. My first impression is that it needs lots of work still. I wasn't near any curbs what so ever and it came up at least twice this morning. First occurrence was backing out of the garage where my driveway meets the grass flat area. Its a narrow driveway, so I have to drive on the edge. Car thought that edge of the driveway was a "curb" and displayed warning with audible alert. Second situation was turning left on the intersection. While waiting for the light to change the 360 camera came on the double yellow line on the left was highlighted orange as I stopped close to it. I am thinking about turning off this feature until it gets improved. Seems like it doesn't take into consideration the height of the surface at all and it's more annoying than helpful.

Needed this alert 2 months ago :-(

Did 2.5 completely break anyone’s key fob access? My key fob doesn’t work at all anymore. I’ve changed the battery and attempted to re-pair the key fob but the car doesn’t even recognize that the key fob is sending out any signal (can not even pair it anymore after deleting it).

It's coming. Do you have Surreal Sound Pro installed on your vehicle? You don't really need an email… You can just get your tape fixed scheduled with mobile service. Then when the update comes (it's still rolling out) you will be ready to go. Also, check to be sure that the email Lucid has on file is correct and also make sure that the email didn't end up in your junk mail folder.

That’s a good point. It’s possible that both my mobile key and key fob stopped working. I did notice that I had to manually unlock the car with the app and then had to use my PIN to drive, but didn’t connect the dots initially. I did delete my mobile key and managed to re-pair that which appears to be working but key fob access is dead.

Just got into the car to do a car wash and noticed that my music volume is drastically louder and more sensitive! I now don't need to have the volume indicator past one third!
Much more bass than even yesterday! But it does sound *slightly* less accurate. I guess we'll see.

I did the same thing - removed the mobile key and paired it again - seems to be working now..
but driver door soft close issue is still persistent..

Yes, that is confirmed. We will be sending an email shortly notifying owners with SSP who have not had the adjustment.

Glad I got the SSP and DDP....may have costed more but well worth it!

Got the email today about the TSC.
At 5:15 pm, I made an appointment on the Lucid app .
At 6:04 pm, the SC called to confirm the appt and reviewed other issues that I reported. A loaner was also offered.
This is impressive service.
Kudos to Lucid.
By the way, one of my issues is the app frequently fails to wake up the car. SC told me tonight turning off the wi-fi may help. Will try that.

I’m not that guy but I’m in the same position. No email at all and my correct email is on file

I’ve noticed the same. Huge change to volume. The slider increments have gotten larger too. But sound accuracy seems off to me.

Is there any observed change for base SS with this? The update notes are not entirely clear if 100% of changes only apply to SSP.

I'm finding myself preferring the old volume slider. I can't find a position in the new slider that is just right for my comfort, it is either too soft or too loud between 1 level in adjustment.

I spoke to my SA today he said he looked up my VIN and did not see anything TSB outstanding. He thought that it was cars built earlier years that has the issue. Mine is a 2024 built end of 2023. How do I know if the tape issue applies to me? Perhaps it is something easy to check? Take a speaker grill off?

Need to remove door sill and the kick panel. Be careful prying and not to break clips. I would suggest waiting for the email from Lucid stating if your car requires the fix or not.
