This ^^^. Worked for me.Perform a key card reset.
Lock the car using the key card

Unlock car like normal
Should work again.
This may have been discussed in new SW thread, but do you know if there’ll be any change in the reset?Perform a key card reset.

What other software gremlins have you encountered? This just happened to me tonight as well. Day 2 with the car. Locked the car and went to dinner. Came back an hour later and the radio sounded “normal” again. Software gremlins aplenty!
Mobile key, Key Fob… neither work with regards to proximity locking or unlocking, and they work inconsistently when actually engaging the buttons (physical on the Fob or via the app). I keep the card in my wallet and though I have a mobile key on my phone (both of which are in the car), it will always asks me for my PIN to ”start” the car. Thankfully it is just the radio and the keys at this point. Disconcerting only being 2 days post-delivery with these issues but not unexpected given I have been lurking on here for the past few months while I waited for delivery and understand the other issues. What other software gremlins have you encountered?
Have you tried to delete the mobile key from your phone, move the fob very far from the car so it can’t detect it, and add back a new mobile key?Mobile key, Key Fob… neither work with regards to proximity locking or unlocking, and they work inconsistently when actually engaging the buttons (physical on the Fob or via the app). It’s just inconsistent on 1.0. The soon to be released 2.0 makes it flawless.Have you tried to delete the mobile key from your phone, move the fob very far from the car so it can’t detect it, and add back a new mobile key?
@Bobby I have not. I will give it a shot in the morning and let you know the outcome. Many thanks for the tip!Have you tried to delete the mobile key from your phone, move the fob very far from the car so it can’t detect it, and add back a new mobile key?
@Bobby Did as you suggested, and it appears that I am actually getting a response from the car with my phone. The delivery specialist associated all of the fobs, and mobile key to my profile so am wondering if it was just too much and the system was having a hard time parsing all the devices. Removed everything, re-added a single fob, and my phone and it seems to be working. Very much looking forward to the 2.x update. I am really glad to hear that it worked for you! Now, buy a nice faraday pouch or box from Amazon and put the fobs in it and put it away! Mine are in my safe. You will never need it again except for a valet.@Bobby Did as you suggested, and it appears that I am actually getting a response from the car with my phone. For those who have not seen the fix posted here before, it’s very simple. Keep your phone key and key fob far away from the car. Lock your car using the plastic card key by holding it just above the driver’s door camera. Walk away for at least 15 minutes. Next time you go to the car, the sound should be restored. This happened to me once and hasn’t happened again.I think this happened to me as well the second day after taking delivery. Radio was working fine...I think I was on Bluetooth streaming something from my phone. Parked the car for a quick grocery run and came back to open the door and realize the speakers..especially back right one was absolutely screeching...no other way to explain it. Also seemed like me turning the volume down or low kept the screeching volume the same. Eventually when I thought it was off, every indicator signal or any lane assistance that the car was beeping out...was screeching again....I don't know how I fixed it but I think it was just sitting parked overnight and since the following day it's been fine. Super wierd!

I received two "valet cards" and two fobs. But no little string-thingys to attach to the fobs as others have mentioned! On the subject of the "valet card". Sooooo not a valet card. More like an emergency "get in my car" card. Would love to see it actually have valet characteristics (ie. lock trunk/frunk/glovebox, limit horsepower/top speed, etc.). Don't want to hijack the stereo thread too badly How many valet cards should we have gotten? I got one. The delivery specialist was waving one around at the delivery and didn't see it make it's way back into the black box but could have missed it.
