Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

If you want to jump the queue to get the blue it will be classed as an order change. If you’re on the original pricing any changes made will put you into the new price.

No one has a finalized order for a Pure yet. When I finalized my Touring order a few weeks ago, I could have changed anything I wanted, including adding Stealth. All without losing my original pricing. Several of us did.

The same will be true for Pure.

It’s after you finalize that you can’t make further changes without pricing consequences.

That’s positive news! I’m still waiting on First Contact from a Costa Mesa DA!

I’m also in SD taking delivery from Costa Mesa. Russell originally called me on Saturday but I missed the call. I tried to get in contact with him for three days and he finally responded today.

Same info on delivery likely being in the last two weeks of December. I asked for home delivery but he said that’s not available if you’re within 100 miles.

Yes, all three were silver and Santa Cruz interior. There is a video on the Lucid twitter page showing the three silver cars rolling into the event.

Thank you for the info. If the Silver folks on this thread are paying attention, it likley means that the first batch of Touring Edition cars have already been dipped/painted Silver. Here to hoping that all the colors get a shot at being delivered this year.

Yeah, this was billed as “Derek’s choice” for the flagship touring color and interior.

So @np1989 reserved a silver car with DDP/glass canopy/SSP on March 26, 2022 confirmed his order 10/31/22, gets VIN assigned on 11/8 and delivery on 11/15 but @Chillywill75 placed his deposit 11/8/20 for the same spec car and confirms his order 5 days before @np1989 has nothing yet? Why is that?

Had the test drive today. The manager of the studio actually came to our house. Can't ask for better service than that.
Finalized my order: Zenith Red, Mojave Interior, 20” Wheels, Glass Canopy Roof and AWD Drivetrain.
Delivery will be delayed because of Mojave interior.
Incidentally, there's possibly light at the end of the tunnel for the EA charging fiasco in that 1- Lucid's fully aware of the pain inflicting on their customers and 2- other options are actively being discussed.

The Lucid manager actually got to test drive our EQS today, too.
We both agreed that the EQS is more quiet and the Air is roomier.
And I have no idea why people complained about the Lucid's sound system.
I was very impressed.

I think that the EQS sounds much better than MY DE. I think that I will ask the service department to check out the audio system

Funny, I was thinking of doing the same thing for my EQS.
It's very anemic compared to the Lucid.

Actually, I was one of them! Just haven't had time to report it back to the tracker thread. It was an awesome delivery experience and so far the car is everything and more than I expected.

We need pictures, videos, the whole shebang!

We received our first call from our DA. I was not one the call so I couldn’t ask questions but he informed us that due to our location in NY the car will be shipped to our nearest Studio, Manhassett, then delivered to our home.

He asked some questions about our availability to receive the car towards the end of December. The VIN is not assigned yet but we will see once that is assigned.

I had my first call scheduled with my DA yesterday. Never received a call from him. (Brandon at Scottsdale location). Tried to call, generic voicemail, no call back, no email. I scheduled another call via their online calendar for today, we'll see, but not a great start.

Because he's probably a preferred buyer. I know of one such preferred customer personally.
