Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Pure

I'm almost certain it's not 300 per day. In a recent interview Peter said he's happy that they're producing over 50 a day, which would be about 300 per week.

The current factory is only capable of 34k per year until the expansion is complete. I think he means 300 per week which is the number from the last earnings call.

Has anyone gotten their VIN assigned for a Pure? I'm assuming the fully spec'd out Fathom Blue individuals would be most likely, especially @noobzilla as they're invited to the Dec. 17 event, but just wanted to confirm.

I currently have the option of keeping my Touring reservation or downgrading to the Pure at new prices. I'd be spec'ing out Fathom Blue with everything for priority/first batch, but still huge IF on whether or not it'll be first batch or early enough for December 2022 delivery for the $7.5k credit.

As per @nasilemak in other thread, looks like there will only 10 delivery this year. It's safe to assume most of such folks are in the West Coast and they have already been contacted for paperwork.

Anybody who is yet to be contacted, I'd assume we are pushed into next year.

Most likely I'll be removing few options too if I can't get car this year. I don't really need a car so I can wait it out late next year. I don't want to bear the teething issue when I'm losing out EV credit anyway.

Most likely I'll be removing few options too if I can't get car this year. I don't really need a car so I can wait it out late next year. I don't want to bear the teething issue when I'm losing out EV credit anyway.

Ok, we will see. I had confirmed within 35min of receiving the invitation on 22nd Nov. No communication so I think I'm pretty confident I'm out this year. I've reservation from Oct 2020.

If they can't value me enough then I've no reason to value them either. I'd still be interested in buying the car in the future but no desire to bear the burn.

No VIN for me yet. DA said earliest would be this week but more likely 2 weeks timeframe. Only fully loaded blue Pures will be delivered. Best to contact them but Im guessing going for the blue Pure by end of year will be difficult for those who hasnt finalized at this point

New price will more than eat up the EV credit also and youre throwing away the possibility of confirmed reservations pre-new ev bill qualifying for 7500.

Where did you get the number 10?

I believe it's 10 people at the delivery event in Casa Grande. I know of at least one other person who has been told they'd get they're Derek Jenkins specc'ed Pure by year end, so there will definitely be more than 10 delivered this year.

I don't see East Coast delivery happening even for Touring. I've discounted Pure completely at this point.

I reserved Pure on 5/19/2022 and ordered 8/11, but still no invite to confirm! I'm in NJ.
I got invited 11/8 to confirm the Touring that was reserved 5/20/2022, but I had cancelled it.

Did you have 2 separate bookings, or rolled Touring into Pure ?

I fear you're right. I'd happily fly in and drive mine home, but I fear I should just accept H1 2023 as being more realistic.

Are you sure that they asked for insurance? I only needed to provide the driving license info photo of the front and back and address of the owner and the co-owner. Once VIN is known, we can get an insurance quote and my understanding is there is a need for proof of insurance when we take delivery. That is for sure a requirement if there is financing. Has anyone been given VIB for Pure the Derek Jenkins design yet?
