Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Pure

Trying to give them a call to ask some questions like would that waive our destination fee? I'm likely just going to wait for delivery here in CA. I think 1 week shipment should suffice? Home delivery last week of December. I'm just worried if there's not enough truck drivers and no one to deliver to my home. The Rocklin area is just a service center and I was told I could not pick up there.

Sounds like you're gonna be going there? I suppose if I lived in Santa Monica that won't be as far of a drive. I'm still deciding if I want to take a plane there then drive up 800mi for a guaranteed 2022 delivery.

Or another option I'm thinking is accept the car in AZ so I can officially have it Placed in Service but they would still ship it here in CA lol. I have some reservation immediately taking the car on an 800mi trip

Yeah. Factory tour would be pretty cool. I got to walk through the Tesla factory in Fremont before it opened, and it was a fun experience.

Did you talk to your DA yet? I talked to them this morning, they got my address and license info, then an hour or so later I got the call about the factory pick-up.

I received email to confirm exactly at 1:35PM EST yesterday, confirmed the order at 2:16PM. Sent an email in the morning today to sales team for someone to call me as I'm traveling out of country next week. No email response or call. Clearly, location matters. I'm in NJ. I still have doubt any of us in the East Coast will get Touring or Pure this year despite "promises" mentioned by some of DAs.

Ya my da called me at 12.55pm and I got the automated email after I confirmed at 12.58pm. I live in Kansas City, mo. 1,100 miles

I got an email to finalize my Pure today also. May 30, 2022 reservation. That happened much faster than expected. I thought there were 30,000 reservations in front of me.

Just received an email that my Pure reservation is ready to be ordered. I've already confirmed an order for a Touring so I'll be cancelling the Pure reservation, but just thought I'd post for those interested. I made my Pure reservation May 31, 2022.

Just got an email to finalize my Lucid Air Pure Design. I do not have an early configuration (No AWD, No DDP, etc). Is everyone getting an invite to finalize their design?

I immediately loaded a Pure with the specs they announced they will produce first (got an email). Few days later I finalized my order within a few hours they announced that I can do that (email). Same day I received an email from my DA and I set up a phone call the next day who then took my address and license info. Received an invite to the event an hour later. I live in CA 800mi from the factory
