Not sure if this is a new bug or if it existed prior to 2.0.
Today (while at Discount Tire replacing our Pirelli bubble tire), my wife pulled the car out and drove it around to the front. Note: the only profiles set are mine, "Exit" (workaround for easy entry/exit), and Guest.
Since I dropped off the car, my profile was selected. However, she moved the seat prior to exiting. I then entered the vehicle and tried to "set my profile" .. I clicked my profile name (which was selected) hoping it would reset the saved settings, but it did not. I then decided to select one of the other profiles (can't remember which) and clicked it. While it was changing profiles (seemed like forever but was probably 14 seconds or so) a line of cars started to pile up behind me. When it was done, I clicked my profile and the right cockpit and pilot panels went blank. I couldn't move the car while it was rebooting and the reboot took a little over a minute. Not a showstopper, but at that moment, I wasn't sure what happened and if the panels would come back (and I'd be able to move the car).
When I got home, I tried to replicate the issue and I was able to replicate it (by having me and my wife repeat the prior steps). After being able to do it a couple of times, I couldn't come up w/ an easier way to duplicate the issue (i.e. eliminating steps). I did time the events and I have to admit that switching profiles is a bit slow, but rather consistent and varies in time from 10-14 seconds while the "reboot" was consistently in the 1min range.
So, question, did I inadvertently reboot the panels? If so, how? Is this a bug?.. should I report this?
Also, is selecting driver profiles dependent on face recognition? (thought that perhaps my wife using my profile and linked keyfob may have confused things).
Lastly, how does one "reset" the driver profiles (e.g. you move a seat or mirror temporarily and want to go back to the saved settings .. without getting out of the car)?
