Grand Touring Deliveries?

Toscanini’s is really, really good and still going strong. Unfortunately, Cinderella’s is gone. Never went there but went to Toscanini’s when I worked in Central Square, especially at the end of a bad day. I’ve always loved Herrell’s and Steve’s before that. But as I’m a Yalie, I’m not allowed to say nice things about Cambridge.
My favorite ice cream growing up in Mass. was Four Seas in Centerville on Cape Cod. So good...

New City Microcreamery in Hudson, MA. Rail Trail Pizza is right across the street, and New City itself has a hidden speakeasy with a decent cocktail menu in the back of the ice cream shop. All are outstanding and in combination with Medusa Brewing make for a very efficient date night.

I’m driving a 2016 Subaru Outback with 105K miles. Unfortunately, with its build quality, this car will last forever. Damn.
In my day we had a slightly different definition of a ‘very efficient date night’. ;)

While I am also not allowed to say anything nice about Cambridge, when I was in College it was Cabot's in Newton.

So @Adnillien got a VIN today for his Air Grand Air Touring. Has anyone else received one yet and what is the timeline they are giving after VIN assignment?

Not yet, but did get my Lucid Blackwing Pencils today!

@AZAirGT posted in another thread that he also received a VIN today. It must be that AZ deliveries are first.

Yes both @Neurio and I posted about them a while ago. They are needed now so that I can sketch something rather than spend all my time thinking about my GT in production.
So then is it, when you get your pencils, the VIN soon follows?

Can someone please clue me in. What's the deal with these pencils?

Some of us received Blackwing pencils today as a thank you gift from Lucid. So, there's a theory that receiving pencils means you get a VIN in the near future. I think the date you confirmed your order is a better harbinger but YMMV.

Many designers like to sketch with Blackwing pencils. Lucid had their logo added to some and they are sending them out as a gift after confirming your order. It is a clever way to link the value of design to the Lucid brand. I liked it anyway.

Special edition Lucid pencils from Blackwing. All the DE folks got pencils and a sharpener. We GT folks get the pencils.

By the time they get to Touring and Pure, we'll get just the box lol.

Wait what? No sharpener because I ordered the GT?! Okay that's it, I'm done. I'm canceling my GT.

My pencils just arrived today. Deposit July 17th. Reservation confirmed Nov. 30th.

I assumed because I ordered the Cosmos Silver, that my car would be in the last batch of AGT's to be produced.

Unless of course the pencils have nothing to do with VIN's or delivery dates and they are just sending out pencils to all GT holders.
