Saw this EQE at EA. Doesn't appear to charge as fast. Pulling about 40kW less when we were at same state of charge.

Is this suppose be a mini SUV? Design is far from being sexy… 😔
 
At that price point, I'd definitely buy the Pure, bypassing the EQE, assuming that all the pieces in the Pure that are assembled with veclro, double-sided tapes, and cable ties will continue to hold up with time and the summer heat.

I mean, “same state of charge” doesn’t mean much. There’s a laundry list of conditions that impact charging speed overall. Not even just limited to the car but also the exact station being used.

The onboard charger of both the EQS and EQE are capped at or below 200 kW vs Lucids box which is > 350 kW. As to how often you’ll ever see speeds > 150 kW with the current charging infrastructure… that’s a better question alongside the state the battery. I just attached a screenshot of the highest charge speed I’ve ever hit with full preconditioning in Florida weather. Take note of the second screenshot with the charging curve loss.
