1.2.6 OTA Out

even with the mechanical opener? eg the second step / threshold on the "door trigger"
THAT should be looked at. I had a door handle issue, and the mechanical opener worked fine even when the handle didnt
The mechanical opener opened the front doors, but not the rear. I tried multiple times for both the rear doors.

Correct they were in the Farraday Pouch. However no excuse for it not to open using the second key fob or card. I understand the app may not work but FOB Absolutely should especially when they have no manual recourse.
I agree, the worst case should be the card or the key fob using the pillar. That's why I suspect something happened with your 12v system.

So just to be clear (sorry if I missed this), but fob up against pillar just above camera did not work? It has to be above the camera versus below the camera for the key card right?

Yea see @Coltonw011 post with pictures from the manual

Both are above the camera and I was on a video call with my delivery rep and he had his tech with him and we tried placing both everywhere on that pillar. The Frunk was open so we even tried pushing that button that is the emergency hatch open several times thinking that may get a response and nothing. So hoping I hear something soon.

not the external handle. but all four internal triggers have a second stage which triggers the mechanical unlock.
I've used this on the rear doors
when the update is all sorted, you might want them to check the mechanical locks in the rear... it is weird neither worked

Did your PPF place disconnect the 12v?...

They told me they have not touched anything on the inside. Where IS the 12V?
One behind the frunk enclosure and 1 in the trunk

At this point will wait for the tech. Why do you think they would want to disconnect it?
I'm not saying they did, but the issue you are experiencing sounds like a complete failure of the electrical system, specifically the 12V system which controls all the ancillary stuff i.e. door locks. Maybe they shorted it out? Just guessing since you got nothing but time...:p

I hear you, they have not been working in that area but it’s possible. Could you maybe send a photo of where that is on the car? I do believe it is a complete electical failure.

The FOB is supposed to be placed below the camera, and as @Alex said, you need to press the handle in, then place the FOB under the center pillar camera. The valet card goes above the camera.
Either way, hopefully they fix it soon, such a drag..

Took my first ride since upgrading to 1.2.6 and had a couple of minor issues:
1. Alexa is not connected. I know others have reported this as well but my Alexa app's Bluetooth shows the Lucid but says it is offline. Not sure how to get it back online?? Suggestions appreciated.
2. Tidal to me sounds the same as before (which is fantastic) on my Dolby Playlist, but interestingly when the songs are playing, the progress bar underneath the song remains at zero, even though the song plays fine and when complete advances to the next song on the Playlist, but again progress bar remains at zero??
3. Bluetooth works fine and my Apple Music Dolby Playlist sounds really good. Progress bar works fine on Bluetooth songs.
4. Didn't mess with the navigation at all so can't comment on what's new if anything.
5. My car has developed the steering wheel "creak". I noticed it with the stereo off on the windy road parts of the drive. At first I thought maybe it was coming from the stereo but no it was the steering wheel. Not all the time but when I am turning quickly or pressing on the wheel it makes a creaking sound. Car is going in next week for some other stuff so I'll have them check it out.
Thoughts or comments appreciated.

The tech was there and supposedly there is a place under the car to what I was told is Jump the Car. They are taking a whole bunch of diagnostics from the Car now and they are going to dig into the issue.
Tech agreed if indeed something happened to the 12V trigger it should not be so easily disturbed if it can make the car not open.

We will see if they will share what really happened with me.

For now the PPF Guys know not to mess with any wires or keep the keys with the car.

Thanks everyone for your inputs.

I placed those two items everywhere I can think of. I think it had to be something with the trigger OR MAYBE that old Wiring harness issue can also make this happen. We will just have to wait and find out or get “A” answer. 🙏

Damn man, what an ordeal, sorry it’s so early into ownership. I’m sure Lucid is very interested in figuring out how the hell it happened and how to fix it.

You fix it by not leaving the FOB in a faraday bag inside the car.

Regardless, The second fob should have worked though so something went wrong.
