I have been watching this thread very closely. This week, I came within a hair’s breath of selling my Dream Air, which has about 500 miles on it. They were going to pick it up today. I’ve looked around on line at the Mercedes EQS, the Audi RS e-tron, the BMW i4, and the Tesla Plaid ( I’ve own two S models). I also read what many of you have had to say about these various cars, as well of course, the Lucid. I’ve had a lot of problems with my Dream, more than most of you. But, I began to worry that all of those other EVs, with exception of the Tesla, were probably going to give me some problems too. I’ve stated here before and I’ll state it again, I’m so not a gearhead, techie or otherwise. Some might say I can barely tie my shoelaces. I don’t see myself using ACC or ever, ever driving over 80. I just want the radio to work so that I can listen to NPR and my garage door to open and close, two things that are solidly glitchy in my car (not even going to mention about the key fob). I’ve not had good CS as they actually don’t know how things work on the car. I come here for information and am grateful

for this forum.
Anyway, trying to picture myself in the other cars, surprisingly, left me cold. The Lucid is so aesthetically beautiful that for me it just kills my interest in the other ones. It’s the perfect sized sedan for me. The drive is a Dream. Lucid is going to overcome the glitches although it will take time. I could have gotten exactly what I paid for the car. This was a very close call and I’m relieved I decided not to sell.
