They are for floor jacks. Not scissors jacks. They have been around forever for different cars. The lifting cup on most floor jacks just lift off. The floor jacks come with a cupped holder. This replaces that cupped holder with a fancy fru fru flat surface. A $5 hockey puck works great with a floor jack. I find that EV sportline tries to find expensive solutions to non existent problems.

I'm wondering the same thing myself. In another thread, someone said that this fits on cars that have "rails" on their jack point, which is not the case with the Lucid. On Amazon, there are other scissor jacks that have a flat top. Have you tried to jack your car up?

No I have not had to use it yet thank heavens but I’m sure it will happen. The hockey puck idea that was mentioned might work. Interested in all ideas
