Song Recommendations to get the best out of the Air sound system!

Totally random. Tried in the garage over wifi, out the open with full signal (not Wi-Fi). It's the same each time.
Seems like yours is failing even more frequently than others ( at least mine anyway) . Mine will work most of the time, but then occasionally just quits.
Sometimes it shows the song is playing , but there is no sound. Other times, it just gets stuck and I cannot advance or go back. Occasionally when it glitches it will just automatically correct itself. Often the glitches are related to signal weakness ( in my case anyway).
I really hope an OTA fixes this, as it is big frustration for many.

That's exactly what I experienced. All of these bugs on separate occasions.

The Bowers and Wilkins marketing person played three songs when he demoed the Nautilus speakers: Downtown by Macklemore, Hey Laura by Gregory Porter, and Madness by Muse. I recently heard It's Your Thing by Christian McBride and Dee Dee Bridgewater on a nice setup and I added it into the rotation.

Let’s hope for a software breakthrough!!!!
I am nearly certain that 2.0 is going to help with Tidal, because I believe the issues are related to buffering and threading, and not cell service. Based on my understanding of how 2.0 will be a rewrite, I think it will help massively if not fix it entirely.

Tidal doesn't work for me at all.

I start playing a song, and 15s-2m later it'll cut out indefinitely. I have to then return to Tidal and change songs, or spam pause/resume to get it working again.

Not sure what's up, but I tried it 4 separate times yesterday. I'm probably never going to use it now.

Surprisingly, Bluetooth audio from my phone has been the most reliable (dispite the car still never showing anything in the "connected devices" section in Bluetooth)
Agree completely. I cancelled my Tidal subscription and am sticking with Apple music and waiting for Car play. I've been using Bluetooth in the meantime.

Good to know.

Mine has been slightly annoying but tolerable. Looking forward to future updates and improvements.

I miss my Lucid Air for 8 days, and even more I missed and spoiled by that Surround Pro system. Despite Polestar2 Harmon Kardon is 600 watt 13-speaker according to salesman is suppose be awesome, but the sound quality depth is just not even 1/2 way close to Air GT on using same TIDAL app songs. Then I discover this archaic equalizer, this feels so 1990 decade where I forgot how to tweak frequency of stereo system.

haha, to be fair, that bottom "advanced" eq is exactly what our cars need because of the huge drop off in bass response on stereo audio ;)
Specifically I think I'd bump up the 75 slider there quite a bit and tune the 16k down some (in the Lucid obviously, never been in a Polestar 2).

I think down the road, when Lucid software team run out of priority, will make more fine-tune sound features. I always believe that if Lucid’s fine UI look was merely first year attempt, it can get only better from there.

IMO, although Android Auto system is nice and Polestar2 may have more apps, but its minimalism is strictly functional, it doesn’t have software UI and cabin beauty design of Lucid Air. My son likes that IKEA Scandinavian look, but he doesn’t like dashboard-less and lack of niches in Model-3.

I agree. Lucids design team has nailed it. All aspects of their design are just so beautifully done.

I have been driving my Navigator for the last two days after 5-6 weeks of only the Lucid and the one of the first things that I noticed is how much better the sound system is with the built-in SiriusXM radio and even the FM tuner. I know that the Lucid has good audio hardware but at least in my car just doesn't sound great.

You were using Bluetooth connect right?
What annoying in Lucid sound system is requirement if 2-3 cellular bars for no choppy sound. I am hoping 2.0 get better. I am still faithful. 😂

For me, it sounds unbeatable with Tidal and average with Bluetooth, but with Tidal, there is nothing else like it, especially with Atmos.

I have a new (old) Atmos recommendation - Send in the Clowns as performed by Judy Collins. Play it loudly. The combination of her incredible voice and the orchestra supporting her is just beautiful.

I may have a problem with my sound system, but I’m not sure. Bass (kick drum, for example) sounds very muddy in the front speakers, like the speakers are “blown”. Volume also seems to be relatively low and bread other cars I’ve had. When I want to turn up a really good song to a louder level, I basically need to turn it ALL THE WAY up. When I got out of my GT and got into my other car, I was surprised how much more top end volume and bass it has. They are coming later this week to look at a different issue I am having, and I’m going to ask him about the stereo system… Anybody experienced this?

Try the Key Card reset.

1) exit car
2) place key card above or below camera (can't remember) to lock car
3) Make sure all fobs/phones/keys are away from car for 15 minutes
4) return and unlock like normal
5) see if bass returns
6) profit

omg you people like music too!?
i love this place.
Fagan's new frontier has been running through...and that album he did about the new car ... the kaydeedid or something...where are those cd's ??? I can't even drive my car for 3 more weeks...it sits in the garage updating in fits and starts...now I have to see if I can play my steely dan cds... Hey... any yens old enough for ELP Lucky Man ? talk about phaze change

Just want to note I have not even tried to figure out the audio yet since I'm not allow to drive the car until my detailer is finished...but the bass was cranked up to the max...some child must have been in the car. Folks need to check the settings...I was not impressed with the audio at first but don't have a good source as yet.
