In fairness, that is what they told me when I reported my second incident of this happening, and that was a couple of months ago.
My car has been at the Service Center since September 26 (just over a week). As usual, they haven't been able to duplicate any of the issues. They still can't tell me when they'll return the car, as they are waiting for instructions from the engineering team.
Basically, except for the first two days of their visit when the car had three software incidents requiring reboots, the car will be out of service the entire time we have guests from overseas and whom we had planned to squire around in the Lucid.
Our Model S Plaid, with its cramped rear quarters, is basically a two-seater for adults -- and at just over 11,000 miles it's developing unsettling squeaks and rattles. And the Lucid, with its constant software issues, is too unreliable to depend on for long outings with passengers. Thank goodness we kept our trusty Honda Odyssey minivan.
I have thought for the past couple of years that I would never buy another ICE vehicle, with a Lucid Gravity as the likely replacement for the Honda. Unfortunately, I'm rethinking that position.
