I keep getting a weird Spotify bug and its reproducible. If I'm playing music on the in car Spotify app and skip around 4 or more songs the sound completely stops. It will show the music playing but no sound. I can max volume slider and still nothing and the only way to get the music back is after leaving the car for a while and coming back.

When that happens I can switch to Tidal or stream Spotify via Bluetooth from my phone and audio works normally. On those two I can skip as many songs as I want and music will still play.

I searched on here and google and couldn't find anyone having an issue similar to this

I encounter this here and there. Except I usually don't have to exit the vehicle and come back. I usually back out of Spotify, go into something else, sometimes even play something else and then go back to spotify and usually it works again. Once in a while I give up on Spotify for that drive but it's honestly rare for there to be an issue... rare enough that I don't feel the need/desire to try to report it somewhere and get it resolved.

@GrayFawkes Spotify in-car app is not great. I have lots of these style issues. Basically the app errors in the background and sometimes recovers and sometimes does not. Like Chris above, sometimes you can switch the app and go back. Sometimes you can just hit play again.

In many of the scenarios (usually podcasts for me), the play back stops and then i get a spotify server error.

If you report it in a ticket to customer service, they tell you that you have a workaround and that the issue is a software issue. They cannot help and cannot tell you if it's a known issue.

Your best bet is to contact your service center and let them know. It seems that at the very least, the service center is more sync'ed up with known issues. While it won't solve the problem, at the very least it'll be properly documented.

You can post your details into this thread. Provide as much information as possible about your car, what device you use/setup with, and clear steps on replication.

@marqie Maybe Lucid should put out some guidance/blog posts like this that would help the dev team streamline bug reports. And put some of the onus on Lucid buyers to make proper bug reports. I have done the same and not adequately put together a reproducible report and I'm sure it's like white noise to the devs at this point.
